Enjoy gentle strolls or cycle rides in the quiet lanes; for the more adventurous, hire a canoe - explore the scenic water route to Brantome. Our information pack will provide full details. English satellite TV and a good selection of films and music will provide entertainment when required. For evenings out, no-one could resist the local cuisine. Relax in the sumptuous soft furnishings of our 2 living rooms, or rest in a sun lounger with a good book, take a dip and then later in the day, BBQ at the poolside. The Atlantic beaches and dunes of Archachon, south of Bordeaux are approx. 1 hour 54 mins drive, and La Rochelle to the north-west approx. 2 hours.
130km (80 miles) from the Dune du Pilat on the south west coast of France. The sand dune is over 100m high and 500m wide and 3 kilometres long, which makes it the largest sand dune in Europe.

Perigueux: 18 hole (23 minute drive).
Angouleme: 18 hole (60 minute drive).
Chateau Vigier: 18 hole (60 minute drive).
Bordeaux: 4 or 5 courses (90 minutes drive) see local guides.
Travel
By car: ferry to Caen (5.5 hours, 570 km); Saint Malo (6 hours, 518 km); Cherbourg (7 hours, 654 km);
By air: Ryanair from Stansted to Angouleme (+ 1 hour drive); Direct flights to Bergerac from Stansted (Ryanair) from Exeter or Southampton (Flybe).
By train: Fastest train route is to Angouleme from St Pancras.

Further details
We are situated between the 2 market towns of Riberac and Brantome, both of which are full of atmosphere and have large supermarkets. Other local towns and villages offer a wide range of facilities, including canoeing, horse-riding, walking and cycling. Tourist offices are situated in the 2 squares of both Riberac and Brantome, where literature is available on all activities, places to visit and local events.
Booking notes
A deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking and the balance is due minimally eight weeks prior to arrival. Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion and a refundable security deposit of £200 is required.
