La Blottiere is an old French farm just outside St Crèpin d'Auberoche, near Périgueux, which has been converted into two separate houses, one of which is available for rental for self-catering holidays. Set in over 7 acres of garden and woodland in the beautiful central Dordogne, near to the historic towns of Périgueux and Montignac, it affords the holidaymaker an ideal base from which to explore one of the loveliest regions of France. Simply but comfortably furnished, the cottage at La Blottière is very adaptable and while perhaps ideal for couples it can sleep up to 6 people and so is also suitable for families and small group of friends. From May to October guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool at the side of the cottage in the south facing garden.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. 15% discount offered for couple only.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival between 4pm and 7pm or by arrangement. The property shall be vacated by 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with up to four single beds. A baby’s cot is available on request. |
| Bathrooms: | Shower-room with shower, wash basin, wc and bidet. |
| Kitchen: | Well equipped kitchen/dining room with fridge/freezer, gas hob, full size electric oven, microwave oven, electric kettle, and a comprehensive batterie de cuisine. There is also a fireplace with a wood burning stove (logs provided). |
| Utility Room: | Laundry room with washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: | French doors lead from the kitchen into a sitting room with comfortable armchairs, a sofa, table lamps and shelves of books and games. |
| Other: | Private terrace with a large table and 6 chairs overlooking the garden and woods. |

All required beds will be made up with sheets and blankets, pillows and pillowcases. Tea towels are also provided. We request that visitors bring their own towels. |

Outside
The property is set in over 7 acres of garden and woodland. Garden furniture and a gas BBQ are provided. From mid-May to mid-September, guests have unlimited use of their private swimming pool, size 7.60x4.60x1.20m deep (which fully complies with the French safety laws).
Travel
The cottage at La Blottière is in the hills above the valley at St Crèpin d'Auberoche, about 10 miles east of Périgueux, the centre of the Perigord region.
Further details
A comfortable days drive from the Channel ports, La Blottière is about an hours drive from the airports at Bergerac and Limoges, and less than 2 hours drive from Bordeaux and Angoulême airports.
Booking notes
We offer a discount of 15% for any booking of a couple only. A deposit (non-refundable) of 25% of the total price is required at time of booking. The balance of the total price is due 1 month prior to the start of the holiday.
Book now for 2009 and pay the deposit before 31 December and receive a 5% discount.
