'La Luna' stands within an enclosed garden with off-road parking in the centre of the village, directly opposite the municipal tennis courts. The property is entered by the kitchen which is well equipped and has a table which comfortably seats 4 people. At one end of the house there is a double bedded room with a shower room/WC adjacent. At the other end of the house there is another double bedded room with en-suite toilet and a twin bedded room. It is necessary to pass through the double bedded room to gain access to the twin bedded room. Adjacent to the kitchen is a sitting room with dining area. The table accommodates 6/8 people. There is a TV/DVD player. The TV is for the use of playing DVD's only. Garden furniture and a barbecue are supplied. The property is located 5km from the beach (sandy at low tide) at St. Aubin sur Mer and just 2km from the pretty market town of Luneray with supermarkets, restaurants and bakery.

Changeover day is Saturday. In off-peak periods, this is flexible.

Bedroom 3 with 2 x single beds (a portable single bed is also available).
Bathrooms: There is a separate shower room with toilet and wash basin.

Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with double cooker/oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. The cupboard are well equipped with pots, pans, crockery etc.
Utility Room: The utility area, located outside the shower room has a washing machine, free standing dryer, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms: The living room has a sofa and 2 armchairs + a television for the use of playing DVDs only. There is also a music centre.
The living room is spacious and also has a dining table with chairs for 6 people. The sideboard contains a variety of DVDs/games.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels (not beach) are supplied. The property is cleaned at the end of each occupancy.

La Luna is a charming traditional 'colombage' character cottage that dates back 350 years. Its rustic charm adds to its history and character. Whilst the property offers all modern appliances and has been decorated and furnished comfortably, it is not a modern, state-of-the-art dwelling. Anyone looking for press button remote controls and polished chrome, should look elsewhere!

Accessibility
All the accommodation is at ground level, but there is a difference in level between some rooms so the property is suitable for those with limited mobility but not wheelchair bound. The property is suitable for families with young children as the garden is enclosed.

Outside
The garden is laid mainly to lawn with some flower borders and a paved area directly outside the property. There is a wooden garden bench, separate table and chairs and a barbecue.

Coast/Beach
The closest beach is at St. Aubin sur Mer which is beautiful and natural (no amusement arcades and kiss-me-quick hats!) The chalk cliffs make a stunning back drop and early in the morning, fresh fish can be bought directly from the fishermen. At low tide the beach is sandy and safe for children. The next beach at Veules-les-Roses is pebbly but has an excellent children's play area and pool. Dieppe has a very good beach with excellent municipal indoor/outdoor heated pool.

Golf
The local golf course is at Pourville Dieppe, a 15 minute drive. It is an 18 hole links course. There are 5 other courses all within an hour's drive.

Travel
Paris Beauvais Airport is 2 hours by car.
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 3 hours by car.
Le Harvre Airport is 1 hour by car (Skysouth from Brighton).
Dieppe Transmanche Ferry is 15 minutes by car.
Eurotunnel at Calais is 2 hours by car.
Calais Port is 2 hours + 15 mins by car.
Boulogne Port is 1 hour 45 minutes by car.

Distances
The nearest town is Luneray which is just 2km inland and hosts one of the best regional markets on a Sunday morning. The port and yacht marina at St. Valery-en-Caux is a lovely destination and will take just 15 minutes by car. There are many chateaux and gardens of interest in the immediate region with parks like La Bocasse, with animals and rides, which provide great entertainment for the children. Monet's house/gardens and WWII beaches/memorials are equally a 90 minute drive.

Further details
Luneray has an excellent supermarket, several banks, a bakery, small shops, bars, pizza takeaway, a restaurant and a post office. The historic market town and cross channel port of Dieppe is just a 15 minute drive. This hosts a vast selection of restaurants, an excellent swimming pool complex, a good Saturday market and local of small shops and bars.

There are a number of different leisure activities in the area ranging from seabathing, sailing, windsurfing, parachuting, horse riding, golf, walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired at the Tourist Office just 10 minutes from La Luna at Le Bourg Dun.

A 20% deposit is request with confirmation of reservation. The balance is required 3 weeks prior to the date of arrival. A deposit of 200 euros will be requested on arrival.
