The accommodation is on one level with central heating for the winter and air-con in the main living area for the summer. The house is strictly non smoking and pets are not allowed. Unsuitable for families with children under 5 yrs.

Outside
The house enjoys a large terrace, equipped with table, chairs and barbeque for outside dining with magnificent views across the local countryside. Set in a large private landscaped and fenced garden it also enjoys a private pool (8 x 4m) with a selection of sun loungers and umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
Situated within one and a half hours of stunning hiking and skiing areas of the Pyrenees. It also provides a base for visiting the renowned cities of Toulouse and Carcassone plus the nearby historic town of Auch.
Golf
Mauvezin enjoys proximity to several charming golf courses in the nearby towns of Auch (20 mins), Fleurance (20mins) and L'ilse Jourdain (30 mins).
Skiing
There are two ski areas within 1hr 30 mins travel.
Travel
Toulouse is the nearest airport - approx 40 minutes drive.
Other flights are from accessible airports of Pau, Carcasonne and Bergerac, all approx 1.5 to 2 hours drive.
Distances
The house is ideally situated in a rural area yet within only 5 minutes walk to the market village of Mauvezin with it's historic centre and covered Halle. The Monday market provides local produce and the town has a medium size supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants and hosts a wide variety of activities, entertainment and fetes during the summer months. A car is recommended as there is plenty to see in the surrounding areas.
Further details
Mauvezin has it's own tourist information centre providing details of walks, bike riding, golf, swimming and other outdoor activities. The neighbouring town of L'isle Jordaine and Fleurence also have lakes with activities during the summer. During July and August, there is also a local outdoor pool in Mauvezin with a large slide and diving boards. Everyone is welcome and the pool is a social meeting point for the local teenagers and families in the area.
Booking notes
25% non-refundable deposit required with booking form. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure with security/damage payment of £150 payable with balance. This will be returned after your stay providing the property is left as found and there is no damage or breakages.
