About the owner
We are are Franco-English couple who live in the Paris region.
We normally spend a few weeks in August in Avignon with our three children and try to find time to go there at other times in the year to our apartment.

We also have a small flat near our home, just 25 minutes from the centre of Paris.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Elisabeth grew up in Avignon and we bought the apartment to have a place of our own in her home town.
As we cannot be there all the time, and to cover the renovation costs, we have decided to rent it out whenever we are not there.
Unique benefits of the property
Avignon is in the heart of Provence and ideal to visit all the towns and villages in the area. In addition, you can live as the French do with a butcher, bakers and big market all within 5 minutes walk.
The other pleasure is the garden courtyard where you will spend most of your time in the summer. At least half of it is in the shade at any time so it is perfect for long breakfasts, lunches and evening meals.
And you must make the most of visiting Avignon itself. All the main sights are within 15 minutes walk including the Palais des Papes and the famous "pont".
