Just 17km inland from the sandy beaches of Bretignolles and Brem-sur-mer, this unique rural retreat offers two exclusive villas, each with its own private garden and terrace. Built and finished to the highest standard, these villas feature vaulted pine beamed ceilings (living areas), ceramic tiled floors and luxury natural wood finishes throughout. Furniture is (mostly) by Ikea, with extensive equipment and appliances. Hypermarkets and all the usual commerces are available in the neighbouring towns of La Mothe (7km) and Aizenay (12km), as well as a variety of authentic country bars and restaurants in the surrounding villages. The complex is ideally placed, midway between the coastal cities of Les Sables (24km) and St Gilles (22km) and the inland cities of La Roche (19km) and Chalans (32km), offering easy access to the regions wide array of water sports, tourist attractions and nightlife activities. Notes on accommodation
Constructed in 2007 and furnished (mostly) with Ikea furniture, these villas offer the optimum in comfort and luxury for the discerning Vendée holidaymaker.
Equipment and facilities in each villa include: air-conditioning, full electric heating + wood burning fireplace, colour TV (with UK satellite channels) + CD/DVD player, wireless broadband internet access, original oil paintings in every room.

Accessibility
Although not specifically designed for wheelchair access, our villa 'La Chouette' may be suited to this purpose. The internal layout is on a single level, with minimum 90cm clearance through all internal doors and ample space to manoeuvre around beds etc. The main bathroom is of a conventional design (no special fittings for disabled usage). A level parking space exists directly adjacent to the main door. We can provide an access ramp, if required (please let us know in advance).

Outside
The two villas are adjacent to each other on a very secluded wooded plot in a small hamlet of about 12 detached houses. The plot is surrounded on two sides by forest and open farmland and on the other two sides by the neighbouring houses, but none of the neighbours are close – the nearest house is almost 100m away. Neither villa is overlooked by the other, nor by any of the neighbours. There is no possibility of being overlooked or disturbed. Each villa has its own spacious private lawned garden, with newly planted shrubs and trees (not yet mature), as well as a large terrace, equipped with dining table and chairs, sun loungers, gas barbeque. The villa 'La Chouette' has a fully covered terrace. The villa 'La Crécerelle' has an open terrace, but the dining table is equipped with a sun parasol.
Both villas share access to a 5 metre trampoline (subject to parental responsibility), a table tennis table, a selection of adults and kids bikes.

Coast/Beach
Distance to nearest beaches are Bretignolle-ssur-mer 17km, Brem-sur-mer 17km, St Gilles Croix de Vie 22km, Les Sables d'Olonne 24km (home of the Vendée Globe yacht race).

Golf
Established golf courses exist at Chateau d'Olonne (24km) and St Gilles Croix de Vie (22km).
