La Couture is a comfortable, spacious country house surrounded by beautiful wild terraced gardens with lily ponds, where children have to be watched at all times. It is located in the heart of the "chateau country" of the Loire Valley. There is also a large heated swimming pool with infinity wall. It overlooks the water meadows of the meandering river Indre, near to where it joins the Loire on one of its most beautiful stretches. At La Couture we offer luxury Bed and Breakfast (Chambre d'Hote) and gite accommodation. Table d'hote in the evenings for those who wish, with four courses and unlimited local wine included in price (no need to drink and drive). Beautiful gardens in UNESCO World Heritage site. Lovely walks all around, with amazing troglodyte dwellings within 5 minutes easy stroll. The Rivers Indre and Loire within walking distance. Many nearby chateaux, of which the world-famous 'Sleeping Beauty' castle of Rigny-Usse is the nearest (5 minutes drive or bike ride).
