Further details
Unlike many ski resorts, Samoens has respected its architectural heritage and has retained its traditional feel, it is the only ski resort to be officially classified as an historic monument. Here there are no concrete jungles but rather traditional chalets built of wood, with roofs made of single tiles. In Samoens the mountains have alot to offer, both summer and of course winter, thanks to the splendid natural backdrop. Here you will discover holidays that are simply bursting with life. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the village all reasonably priced and offering extensive menus from Pizza to traditional Savoyard menus. The weekly market offers visitors and locals alike the opportunity to buy local products
