Chalet Simplet is a beautiful Alpine ski chalet located in Chatel, France. It has 5 extremely spacious bedrooms all with magnificent mountain views. The dining and living area is again, very spacious and beautifully furnished with a lovely open log fire to relax in front of! Outside, the superb hot tub offers the chance to relax with a glass of bubbly and take in the stunning mountain views. Our prices fully catered and we offer FREE private transfers to and from Geneva airport (only 90 mins away) transport to and from the slopes every day, Ski Orientation around the massive Portes Du Soleil, hot and cold breakfasts everyday, afternoon tea and cakes, pre-dinner drinks with canapes, and delicious 5 course evening meals with as much wine as you can drink! We take care of everything for you, child care, ski hire (in-chalet service), lift passes, just arrange your flights and we'll do the rest! Changeover day
Change over day for Xmas and New Year is Tuesday. All Other weeks are Sunday to Sunday. This helps you to benefit from cheaper flights and a less busy airport.
Notes on accommodation
The Alpine Chalet Company believe in personal service, the little things that make your holiday special. That's why we offer FREE private transfers from Geneva airport (1.5 hrs). Free transport to and from the slopes everyday, and superb 5 course dinners with UNLIMITED FREE bottled wine.
Accessibility
Where as we welcome people with disabilities and/or mobility problems, the chalet is on three levels accessed by stairs.
Outside
The chalet has a large terrace and a fantastic outdoor hot tub. There is also enough private parking for two cars
Skiing
Chalet Simplet is situated just 5 minutes walk to the beautiful village centre of Chatel where you'll find the Super Chatel Gondola that gives immediate access to the massive Portes Du Soleil ski area with over 650km of linked pistes. We provide transport to and from the ski lifts everyday so there's no need to walk anywhere in dodgy ski boots! We also offer help with ski hire, lift passes, lessons, and child care, please see our website for full details.
Travel
We offer FREE private transfers from Geneva airport Just an hour and half away. If you would like assistance with flights please let us know.

Distances
The charming Alpine village of Chatel is just 5 minutes walk from the chalet. From Chatel you can ski to Switzerland, Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets.
Chatel is just 65km from Geneva airport, a transfer time of just over an hour.

£100 per person deposit required at time of booking, full payment required 10 weeks prior to arrival.

We enjoyed ourselves immensely and we hope to be able to return in the future. The evening meals were really delicious, varied and generous (the wines were also good quality) and we wanted for nothing. The in-house ski hire service was a real bonus, with great quality kit.The airports transfers were extremely efficient, as was transport to and from the ski lifts. Echoing other people's reviews, the service was impeccable, with lifts to and from the pistes organised with the group each day and willing to be flexible.
Watching our friends compete in the Friday afternoon slalom alongside Adam, Andy and Mary was such a hoot- especially when Suzanne (one of our party) won! Ok, ok, Andy just beat her, but he didn't count!

Hi, We're Andy and Mary and we have lived and run our chalet in France for the last 4 years.
Mary is a keen snowboarder and has previously worked as a chef, Andy is a BASI qualified ski instructor and we are both on hand to offer all the help and advice you need throughout your stay!

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
Chalet Simplet is perfectly located just 400m from the centre of Chatel. Chatel is an unspoilt beautiful Alpine village that has not been over run with us Brits yet! Still very 'French' the village has fantastic local shops and restaurants, for the perfect Alpine holiday! The village is one of the highest villages in the Portes du Soleil, the largest linked ski area in the world. There are over 650km of pistes available and some of the best off piste anywhere in the Alps! Chatel truely is a picture postcard resort.
