Le Pressoir a Cidre and La Petite Maison are two stone cottages. The cottages have been tastefully restored. The cottage have separate private gardens. Where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine and let the world go buy. The Cottages are Ideally situated for exploring the superb countryside in the centre of Brittany. Only 5 minutes from the old town of Huelgoat, which has a number of restaurants and créperies, several of which overlook the lake. There are plenty of bars to relax and have a drink. Also within easy reach of the larger towns such as Carhaix, Morlaix, Brest and Quimper.

Le Pressoir a Cidre - A supplement for Heating applies 6 Sept - 1 Mar = £30/Wk. Duvets and pillows provided, bedding can be provided £8 per Bed/Wk
The above prices are fully inclusive of gas, electricity, water and heating except were stated. The property is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and is to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Changeover day
Changeover days are Saturdays in peak season. Out of season i.e between October and April changeover days are flexible.

Le Pressoir has oil central heating and a woodburner.
A supplement of £30 per week is charged for heating between October and end of April.
La Petite Maison has electric heating. A supplement of £30 per week is charge for heating between October and the end of April.
Outside
Le Pressoir has a private garden, Table and chairs with parasol. A bbq is also provide. Sun Loungers are also provided.
The garden is for your own personal use. A lovely place to sit and relax and have a drink and while away your holiday.

Coast/Beach
The cottage is located centrally, the north, south and west coasts are within easy driving distance (less than 1 hour). There is a nearby lake (approx 20 minutes) with a man made beach area which is ideal for small children.
The Brittany coastal scenery is breathtaking and all within easy driving distance including the Crozen peninsular, a favourite for bird watchers.
Golf
The local town of Carhaix has a golf course.
Travel
Ferry Ports: Roscoff approx 45 mins and St Malo approx 2 hours. Airports: Brest approx 1 hour Dinard approx 2 hours. Car rental is available at both airports.
Distances
The small town of Huelgoat is 5 minutes drive and here there are 2 supermarkets and a selection of shops including a butcher, 2 boulangeries (with patisseries to die for!), creperies and a Maison de la Presse which sells English newspapers & books. Carhaix is 20 minutes away where a larger range of shops can be found. There are 3 large supermarkets to stock up on food and wine. The port of Morlaix is 40 minutes to the north where there is a range of restaurants to suit most tastes.

Huelgoat - Local town with Restaurants, Creperies, Bars. Shop, Post Office and Payphone, Lake. Communal outdoor swimming pool. Supermarket. Outdoor Market every Thursday. There are 3 Notaires for those who are house hunting. Huelgoat is about 5 minutes drive from the cottage.
Poullauoen - Larger village about 15 minutes drive away. Several Bar/Tabacs and shop. For those who are house-hunting, there is a Notaire with a large selection of properties for sale.
Carhaix - Large town about 20 minutes minutes drive away. Lots of shops, bars, restaurants and street cafes. There is a big 'Leclerc' supermarket open Mon-Sat all day and often until 7pm. Large 'Casino' supermarket in the main square. The newsagent in the main street sells English newspapers, usually a day after publication. Also, there is a pharmacy, launderette, McDonalds(!) and LIDL. Local Hospital (signposted). Petrol station situated at the back of the Leclerc supermarket. There are several large Notaires in the town.
Large Swimming Pool with Toboggan Slide, Sauna. Go Karting, Bowling, Pool Tables etc.
Callac - Small town about 30 minutes drive away. Small 'Intermarche' supermarket which is also open on Sunday morning until 12 noon. Several Bar/Tabacs and patisseries. If you love French 'country' house furnishings and accessories, there is a wonderful shop in Callac called 'Le Comptoir de Campagne' which is well worth a visit!!
This is just to give you an idea of the facilities in the area. The cottage is also only about 30 minutes drive from Morlaix, a large thriving Market Town with plenty going on and bigger shops, supermarkets and amenities. There is a huge 'Géant' hypermarket there.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. A returnable damage deposit of £150 is required when the balance is paid. Payments to be made by sterling cheque.
