The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a double bedroom, and second double with a single bunk bed above. There also a sofa bed in the lounge. The large apartment has been renovated in a modern sylish design, and has a large south facing balcony with spectacular views down the Chamonix valley. The living area and fully fitted kitchen has dining for 6, and a large corner sofa to relax on in front of the (protected) log fire. Nearby are the golf club, the ski lift for mountain walks and hiking, mountain biking trails and stunning scenery. Also nearby are a number of good restaurants and bars as well as local shops, and the main Chamonix supermarket is just a few minutes drive. The local (quiet) mountain train stops not far away, and travels into Chamonix town centre in 2-3 minutes, or all the way to Martigny in Switzerland through amazing mountain scenery for a truly beautiful day out.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is a large room with plenty of wardrope space and a good double bed. Views from window.
Bedroom 2 is smaller with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed above. Great for kids, but equally good for 2 adults.
Bathrooms: Newly fitted in 2007, there is a separate toilet.
Bathroom with large bath / show room.
Second toilet and hand basin.
There is also a washing machine for guest use.
Kitchen: The kitchen as new electric cooker, hob and extractor and rotisserie. There is also a microwave, toaster, kettle, as well as a large fridge/freezer.
Utility Room: Iron, iroing board, hairdryer and vacuum cleaner.
Living Rooms: Lounge, log fire, TV, DVD, min 30 DVDs, Sky UK channels, Xbox with 20 games, board games and books, dining table for 6. double doors opening onto large south facing balcony.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels are included, as is a welcome pack of supplies including tea, coffe, milk, orange, wine and croissants. So we don't have to charge for cleaning after your departure, we ask guests to tidy and remove all rubbish on when leaving.

Accessibility
Situated on the second floor fo the chalet, the apartment has no lift.

Outside
The balcony has seating for 4 and two further fold away chairs to make up to six. There is also a small table.

Coast/Beach
The caost of Genoa is 2 hours drive, or there are beautiful swimming lakes in Passy, just 20 minutes drive from Chamonix.

Golf
The Chamonix chamionship golf course is just across the road. We can book tee times for you and also offer 10% of the cost of your round. You can hire clubs as well if you don;t want to bring your own.

Skiing
The apartment is right across the road from the Flegere ski lift, and conveniently located for either the ski bus (across the road) or Chamonix's famous ski train (70m) which gives you complete choice on ski areas to choose from day to day.

Special interest holidays
Chamonix has a whole range of activities you can enjoy include throughout the summer months: Golf, tennis, walking and treking, climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, swimming, canyoning, white water rafting, hydro speeding and go karting.

Travel
Geneva airport is 89km away from Chamonix and takes 1 hour to drive. Calais is 9 hours drive.

Distances
Chamonix town centre is 1.5km from Les Praz, where the apartment is located.

Further details
Chamonix is a working town with all the conveniences you would expect: supermarket, cinema, petrol stations etc.

Booking notes
To make a booking 30% of the price of the accommodation is required within 7 days. Final payment is due 8 weeks before your holiday starts. If your holiday starts 8 weeks or less then full payment is due straight away. A refundable damage deposit is also required of £200. We accept credit cards (sorry but we have 3.9% charge), bank transfers or personal cheque

Just back home and missing Chamonix already. We all had an amazing time - the apartment was perfect for us and the children loved the adventure park, so much so we had to go nearly everyday! We'd love to come back in the winter time for skiing. Can you help us organise this as we have never skied before. Doug Bott, July 2007
