It is ideally located for visiting Paris on foot, within easy walking distance to several Left Bank Museums (Orsay, Rodin, Maillol) and shopping on the rue du Bac, rue de Bourgogne and rue de Sèvres (inc. the famous Grande Epicerie du Bon Marché). Tour Eiffel and Saint Germain des Près are only 20 minutes away on foot, while the Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Champs Elysées and Grand Palais are also a twenty-minute walk away. Several bus and subway lines. The apartment is very quiet, looking onto courtyards and roofs.

The Musée Rodin and its gardens, the Invalides, the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée Maillol are all within 5 to 10 minutes down the street. The Grand Palais is down the Invalides and across the river. The place de La Concorde is down rue de Bourgogne, around Parliament House and across the River. The Louvre is a nice walk away, down the rue de Bellechasse, across the river and through the Tuileries Gardens.

Shopping on rue de Bourgogne and rue du Bac is only a five-minute walk away. The up-market Grande Epicerie du Bon Marché is 10 minutes away (home delivery service available). Across the Invalides and down rue de Grenelle, the lively ‘rue Cler’ is a market street with family-run shops, cafés, and a little supermarket. Saint Germain des Prés and its little cafés, antique shops and fashion stores are all within walking distance (15-20 minutes). On the Right Bank, the Champs Elysées and Concorde-Madeleine-Opéra areas are also 20 minutes away.
