Comfortable 3 bedroom apartment in Belle Plagne village (La Plagne highest altitude resort). The apartment comfortably sleeps 8 adults (57m sq) and comes complete with all amenities. Perfectly located within 3 minute's walk of the slopes, ski lifts, ski schools and village square with excellent bars and restaurants. La Plagne is under 1½ hour's drive in the winter from Chambery (3 hours Geneva) or just 30 minutes up the mountain from Aime La Plagne train station (Bourg St Maurice) direct from Waterloo on Eurostar. Chambery airport is just over an hour's drive from the resort. The apartment overlooks the valley with a south facing view, giving access to a vast playground, one of the largest ski areas in the world (420km of marked piste) since the new Vanoise Express Cable car link with Les Arcs opened in December 2003. It is situated with immediate access to skiing and the gondola to the snow sure glacier of Roche de Mio (3400m).

Bedrooms: Master bedroom sleeps two (double or two singles), situated off the hallway at the front of the apartment providing extra privacy from the main living area.
Bedroom two sleeps two in a bunk bed.
A further two sofa beds in the lounge (sleeps four).
Bathrooms: Two modern bathrooms with modern power shower, luxury bath.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with hob, cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, etc.
Living Rooms: Lounge- fitted with two large sofas and storage area,along with a TV,DVD and stereo system to relax with after a hard days skiing or in the summer after walking,climbing and riding along the numerous trials in the mountain. Dining Area has fitted table.

 

Notes on accommodation
Apartment fitted with underfloor heating for the winter. Also ski locker in the basement. Underground parking can be booked additionally for approx 70 euros (£48) per week, in the winter, reduced rates in the summer.

Skiing
Perfectly located within 3 minute's walk of the slopes, ski lifts, ski schools and village square with excellent bars and restaurants.

It is situated with immediate access to skiing and the gondola to the snow sure glacier of Roche de Mio (3400m).

Day trips to Val d'isere, Tignes and the Three Valleys are possible and each ski area is covered on a six day paradiski pass. Huge area (420kms) linked with Les Arc with lots of runs for all abilities and fabulous off-piste which remains delightfully deserted. A new dedicated snowboard park at Plagne Bellecote makes this the place to head for, ski direct from Belle Plagne village.

Special interest holidays
The resort caters for numerous acitvities in the summer, from walking, mountain biking, climbing, horse riding, white water rafting.

Travel
La Plagne is under three hour's drive in the winter from Geneva or just 30 minutes up the mountain from Aime La Plagne train station (Bourg St Maurice) direct from Waterloo on Eurostar. Chambery airport is just over an hour's drive from the resort.

Distances
3 mininute walk to the Belle Plagne town square and approx 10 mins by car to La Plagne centre. The main town of Aime can be reached in under 30 minutes and the large town / airport of Chambery in just over an hours drive. No car is needed throughout the holiday, everthing is within very short working distance.

Spa and fitness centre offers opportunity to relax after a hard days skiing only a short walk from the apartment (come out and turn right, just before the village square).
