Owned by an English family, La Mouliere has been the setting for many happy holidays for over 30 years. Surrounded by vineyards, the house is set back from the road down a track. The newly paved swimming pool area is fenced in for security and conforms to European safety laws. Adjacent is an attractive shade area for lounging or eating, overlooking the stunning view, over which the sun sets in the evening. A genuinely special spot.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, or by arrangement if there is no other booking before of after. Arrival after 4, departure before 11.

Notes on accommodation
The house is suitable for children. It has no air-conditioning or central heating, but it has wall mounted heaters in most of the rooms which are very efficient if the weather is cool. The house is old and the doors are low in height, but there are signs saying mind your head to remind you!

Accessibility
The kitchen, sitting room and some bedrooms are on the ground floor so it would be possible not to have to go upstairs at all. The ground is uneven and there are no paths, however.
Outside
Pool is 10m x 5m and is private. It is not heated, but it has a cover which keeps the heat in overnight. It is surrounded by a fence so that children can play safely and parents can relax. There is also an alarm and it complies with French safety laws. There is a covered area next to the pool for welcome shade in the heat of the day. There is a barbecue and a terrace. There are sun loungers, outdoor tables and chairs and a large sun umbrella.

1.5 hours to beaches near Bordeaux.

Golf at Chateau de Vigiers 15km.

Bergerac 30km. Bordeaux 60km.
Distances
2km from Duras. 15km to Ste Foy. Nearby are the beautiful towns of Bergerac, St. Emilion, Eymet, Monsegur.
