L'Achouta is a beautiful wooden chalet, situated the ski resort of La Clusaz. Well equipped with all mod cons. 50m from a ski bus stop, which takes 5 mins to the village centre and 1 min to the nearest lift. There is a huge garden for sledding in winter and ball games in summer. There is a BBQ for your use and a log fire with plenty of logs supplied.

Changeover day
The normal changeover day is Saturday. This is rigidly applied in high season (Xmas, New Year, February and August). At other times we are flexible. However, bookings which span a weekend cannot be accepted except in low season, or at the last minute.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom with double bed and shower 2 x twin bedrooms. Bedroom with 3 single beds Bunk room for two. An additional bed can be added to the triple or the bunk room. In exceptional circumstances a further bed may be added. Cots can be added. |

Accessibility
Unfortunately the chalet is not well suited for people with mobility problems, as there are 15 steps down to the chalet.
Outside
The garden is partly enclosed and is private. There is plenty of furniture and a flat area for ball games. A large BBQ is provided.
Coast/Beach
The area is not a seaside destination, but is located near to Annecy and its beautiful lake. There are numerous beaches situated around the lake, which is exceptionally clean and warm in summer. Most water sports are available, including: diving, swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, sailing, and of course some leisure boats, such as pedalos and low powered motor boats.
Golf
There are nine high quality golf courses situated within 90 minutes of the chalet. The nearest is 35 mins away. Additionally there is a small 9 hole course in the neighbouring village of Le Grand Bornand 15 mins and a driving range and 5 hole course in La Clusaz. Golf holidays can be arranged, to include B&B, airport transfers and transport to the courses from 200 euros per person. Please contact us for details.
The courses are: Evian home of the Evian Masters. 75 to 90 mins, Bossey 45 mins, Chamonix 75 mins, Giez 40 mins, Annecy 35 mins Megeve 45 mins, Aix les Bains 55 mins, Esery 45 mins and Les Gets 60 mins.
Skiing
The chalet is situated in the ski resort of La Clusaz. This is a renowned resort among the French, but is less known in Britain. The ski area consists of 130km of piste located on 5 linked mountains.
There are pistes for all levels, including strong skiers. You can also access the skiing in Le Grand Bornand by skibus 10 mins. There are plenty of cross country trails, and also snowshoe walking areas.

Further details
The village has nearly all amenities required: 2 doctor’s surgeries, 2 dentists, optician, 4 supermarkets. Many shops for a bit of the retail therapy. There are about 15 bars, 30 restaurants and a couple of night clubs.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% of the agreed rental is required as a deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. These payments may be made by Mastercard or Visa (not switch).
