Ideal self catering apartment overlooking the bay of Villefranche/Cap-Ferrat. Part of a complex with all amenities, including swimming pool, gardens, tennis courts, mini-market, restaurant, parking and access to Villefranche beach. The apartment is within easy walking distance to the village and the train station. Villefranche is located between Nice and Monaco (Monte-Carlo). The Port, the Old Town and the Citadel all date back to 130BC, with some streets unchanged for 500 years. The towns of St-Jean Cap-Ferrat and Beaulieu are both only a 3 minutes drive away (20 minutes walk), while Nice and Monaco are each a 15 minutes drive. Nice International Airport is only 15 kilometers away. Known as the 'Golden Triangle', this is considered to be the best part of the French Riviera, and is truly one of the world's great locations.

The apartment contains a kitchenette with all the usual appliances. There is a television with channels in a variety of languages, including English. The Ange Gardien apartment complex contains facilities for your every need, including a laundrette, a mini-market and a restaurant.

The balcony has a round table and six chairs.
There is a shared swimming pool (not heated).
Secure gated parking is included.

Coast/Beach
There is a direct walkway down to the beach (300m) with no roads to cross.

Skiing
1.5 hours drive from the ski resorts of Isola, Auron and Limone.

Travel
Nice International Airport is 15km away.
A car is useful, but not essential.
Villefranche train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment, trains go from here up and down the coast every 15-20 minutes, giving easy access to Nice, Monaco and Cannes without the need for a car.

three of us stayed at this apartment for a week in July 2010. It has a lovely view and is nicely located in the complex away from the noise of the pool. The pool is a good size and the complex also has a nice little supermarket to get your morning croissants from.

This is a great base for sightseeing. Villefranche, Beaulieu and Cap Ferrat are 15 minute walks away. Two train stations are a 15 minute walk and the local buses stop right in front of the apartment complex. We didn't have a car but visited Nice, Monaco and Menton while staying here. All these destinations were one euro each on the bus!

We have already recommended it to friends and family.
recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.
