Our chalet is on the edge of the village, a few minutes walk from shops, in a private cul de sac and built on the mountain side. It is the centre chalet of three. It was built for us in 1990. It is a four storey house, as it is built on the slope the driveway and entrance to children's room is on one level and the living room above also has a door to the garden. There is a large room (converted from the garage) with two sets of bunk beds its own shower/bathroom facilities, there is also a vintage table football game, sofa, table and chairs in this room. Ideal for children. Above this room is the living area and kitchen with a balcony to the front overlooking Lake Geneva and door to the garden and private patio at the back. On the third floor are two double bedrooms and bathroom above which is a charming bedroom under the eaves with sensational views of lake and mountains.

Notes on accommodation
Electric wall heaters in all rooms. Chalet is suitable for children but not toddlers.
Accessibility
A car is recommended to access all the local amenities, and take full advantage of the region. Although we have not had anyone staying who is wheelchair bound, the ground floor has wide door access and shower and wc facilities.
Outside
Communal gardens and private patio and balcony. Outdoor dining table and benches. Barbecue available.
Coast/Beach
6 miles to Lake Geneva at Evian where there is lake bathing and very good swimming pool complex. Many beaches along the coast of the lake at various sites. 10 minutes drive to Lac de Beunaz, mountain lake with many facilities.
Skiing
Our chalet is in the ski resort of Thollon Les Memises, the chalet is situated opposite the telecabine that takes you directly into the ski area and one can ski directly to our front door. It is one of the only resorts that overlooks the Lake from the pistes.

Geneva airport. 1 hours drive.
Distances
We are on the edge of Thollon Les Memises. 6 miles from Evian on Lake Geneva. One hours drive from Geneva.
Further details
There are 3 bars and 3 restaurants in Thollon. Evian has many bars, restaurants. Boats leave hourly for Lausanne, and in summer, a lake tour can be made by boat leaving from the port at Evian. It is a half hour drive to the Porte de Soleil with its excellent restaurants that use local produce. Sensational scenery and skiing in winter.
