Traditional 18C villa with large lounge and dining room. A family holiday home, 1st floor has 4 dbl bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with wc's. Note, the 2nd floor has 3 extra bedrooms, but these are very basic. 2 balconies. Satellite TV, DVD and HI-FI. Washing machine and dishwasher. Swimming pool (10 x 5m). Large garden with shaded patio. Rural location in the ancient village of Brissac which has a bakers, butchers and restaurant. Extensive shopping facilities and restaurants are available in the old market town of Ganges (4 miles). Within an area of outstanding natural beauty in the foothills of the Cevennes mountains, but only 30 miles from the Mediterranean coast and the historic city of Montpellier. Close to the Brissac river and the 12th century Chateau Brissac. Delightful views of the Chateau and the tree covered hills and valley. The Herault and Vis rivers are nearby with swimming and canoing. Peaceful village location.

Swimming on river Herault within 2 miles and river Vis within 5 miles. There are many beach areas on both rivers with slack water suitable for swimming. Nearest sea beach is close to Montpellier (Palavas or Carnon Plage), about 30 miles away, or around 45 minutes by car.

Car is recommended. Close to Montpellier and Nimes airports.

Supermarket, banks, petrol, restaurants and cafes in Ganges. Large weekly market in Ganges. Horse riding, canoeing, go-karting, tennis and scenic walking trails available locally. Historic and natural vistor attractions within a short driving distance. Brissac has a restaurant and a bakers and a butchers shop.
Booking notes
Letting periods are normally weekly and are Saturday to Saturday, but this can be varied by negotiation. Payment of 25% deposit required on booking. Full payment of the letting fee is required one month before the start of the letting period.

We had a lovely time last year in Brissac and were wondering if there was any time it was free next summer? Gavin.
