Chalet Fleur Sauvage is a large, modern and luxury chalet located a few minutes walk from the small village of Bernex. Built in traditional Alpine style it can can comfortably sleep 16 guests, is south facing with gardens and meadow on all sides, and spacious balconies. The chalet is very well equipped and occupies a superb position with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Overlooked by Dent d'Oche, 2220 metres high, Bernex is charming and unspoilt nestling in the mountains above Evian and Lake Geneva. Only 15 minutes from Evian and 1 hour from Geneva, Bernex is perfect for vacations in any season with its own ski area and convenient access into the Portes du Soleil.

Changeover day
The chalet has a Saturday changeover day but there is flexibility. Guests are asked to arrive after 3pm and depart on leaving day by 10am.

The chalet is very safe for children with safety gates on stairs and a fireguard. Heating is from both underfloor and radiators and the chalet is very cosy. The chalet is non-smoking and pets are not accepted.

Outside
The chalet is adjacent to a quiet lane and has covered and driveway parking for up to 6 cars. The gardens around the chalet have several patio areas, are private and not overlooked, and are ideal for families with children. Balcony dining and seating is provided with sun loungers and there is also a retractable sun awning.
Coast/Beach
The nearest swimming lake at La Beunaz is only 1 mile from the chalet with the outdoor swimming complex at Evian 15 minutes by car. Lake Geneva and Evian have many attractions including lakeside beaches, watersports, spas and thermal baths.
Golf
Royal Evian: Évian Masters Golf Club…a legendary course at the foot of the Alps. 18 holes - Par 72 - 6 054 m. A varied landscape, well-defended greens, narrow fairways, water hazards, bushy roughs for varied strokes and velvety greens all year round.
Les Gets: 18-hole, 5264 m course, par 70, no handicap required to play. mountain course with buggies available.
Avoriaz: Situated at the mouth of the Avoriaz resort, on the edge of a pine forest. 9-hole, par 36 course (2930 metres).
Annecy: offers 2 courses, Le Belvedere: 18 holes; 5811m. Les Castors: 9 holes 2214m.
Chamonix: 18 hole course, 6076m, par 72. In a setting between the Mont-Blanc range and the massif of the aiguilles rouges.
Skiing
Bernex has its own ski area of 50km between 1000 - 2000m with pistes to suit all levels and breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The ski lifts are 500m from the chalet. The area has 34 snow making canons and mountain restaurants. Winter walking and cross country skiing are also activities in the Bernex valley along with sleigh rides and sledging.
The neighbouring Thollon les Memises ski area is a 10 minute drive with La Chappelle d'Abondance, Chatel, Morzine and Les Gets making up the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, with 650km of piste, between 20 and 35 mintes away by car.
Travel
Calais - Eurotunnel and Ferries - 530 miles and an 8 hour drive.
Geneva airport - 40 miles and 1 hour 15 mins by car.
We recommend use of a car for exploring all that the area surrounding the chalet has to offer.

A deposit of 25% of the rental price is required before a booking can be confirmed. The balance of the rental amount is payable 8 weeks before the rental period commences and there is a refundable damages deposit of £325.
