Chestnut cottage newly renovated in 2008 is a place for you to relax and unwind. It has been sympathetically restored with contemporary fittings to compliment the traditional features including chestnut beams and large open fire.
La Chaumiere is a charming thatched Breton cottage dating from the 17th century with exposed beams and wood burning stove. The afternoon and evening sun can be enjoyed in the large private south facing garden. Both cottages are ideal for couples and families. From your doorstep you can take a short stroll to Poul Fetan village museum for a traditional Breton meal including locally produced cider or beer. Or meander through Nevedic woods to enjoy the stunning views of the Blavet valley and river. Alternatively relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility surrounding the cottages.

Coast/Beach
The stunning southern Brittany coastline and Golfe du Morbihan are approximately 30 to 45 minutes drive. Good car parking, safe sandy beaches, children's activities and restaurants available at Carnac. Windsurfing/kiting is popular on the west coast of Quiberon and Larmor Plage. Lifeguards are present during the holiday season.

Distances
Village of Quistinic is 5 minutes drive with an excellent patisserie and freshly baked specialist breads, small general store and pharmacy.
The nearest market town of Baud 15 minutes drive with a variety of shops/supermarkets, banks and restaurants.
Canoeing and river cruises are available nearby at Pont Augan and Inzinzac Lochrist 10/15 minutes drive.
Further details
The region has many attractive medieval towns worth visiting including Vannes with it's castle walls, restaurants and cafes. The old port of St Goustan at Auray is great for people watching and a refreshing drink/meal. The old walled town of Concarneau is a delight though it can get very busy during the summer months. The colourful artists town of Pont Aven has a variety of galleries, restaurants and river/sea cruises. Hennebont with it's impressive Basicalla and ramparts and large weekly market is about 15 minutes drive.
