Les Vieux Murs enjoys a sunny and elevated position above the old village of Magagnosc, near to Grasse. It has a quiet and peaceful location and has panoramic views down to the coast and the Esterel hills. There is a private pool, a large garden with 100 year old olive trees, three different terraces and a balcony.

Accessibility
There are many steps in the property and garden so it is not, therefore, suitable for small children or people with mobility problems. We already have family pets so cannot accommodate any other animals.
Outside
The garden is an old olive grove and is terraced. There is a private pool, 8 x 4m. There are three different terraces and two small covered terraces, all furnished with tables and chairs and sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The coast is easily accessible by car in 35 minutes. From the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, the sandy beaches of Antibes and its beautiful Cap, to the busy resort of Juan les Pins and the sophistication of Cannes.
Monaco is less than an hour by car, and St Tropez about one hour. Grasse railway link is just 10 minutes drive which makes travelling along the coast and to Italy very easy indeed.
Golf
There are many top class golf courses within easy reach of the villa. La Grande Bastide, Opio: 5 minutes, Grasse Country Club, La Begude (Opio/Valbonne), and St Donat (Mouans Sartoux): 15 minutes, Cannes-Mougins: 20 minutes.
Skiing
The small family ski resort of Greolieres is less than 45 minutes drive away, and the larger resorts of Isola 2000, Auron, and Limone in Italy are less than 2 hours.

Pottery courses are available at a neighbouring villa.
Travel
The villa is 40 minutes from Nice International Airport. The use of a car is strongly recommended.
Distances
Aside from the coast, there are many interesting places to visit locally. Grasse and its perfume factories is just 10 minutes away, and the beautiful Provencal villages of Valbonne, Biot, St Paul de Vence, Tourettes and Mougins are all within a short distance, 15 to 20 minutes. There are many local markets, art and antiques fairs during the summer season, as well as the famous jazz festivals in Nice and Juan les Pins.
Further details
It is possible to hike in the beautiful scenic countryside above Grasse directly from the villa, and the Mercantour National Park north of Nice, with its 'Valley of Marvels' is just an hour's drive away. There is a very good tennis club close by and many excellent restaurants, including several Michelin star.
