It is therefore an excellent choice for both vacations and congresses. Completely renovated throughout, the apartment is bright and airy - with a large balcony, WiFi Internet access as well as TV/DVD. It comprises: entrance area, 1 bedroom (twin beds). living area with good quality double sofa-bed. kitchen with hob, grill/microwave/oven, fridge and bar for morning coffee, bathroom with shower/bath. The large balcony area seats 4 easily for eating and relaxing and is accessed from both the bedroom and living room via French windows. The apartment is on the 5th floor with lift and an allocated parking place for 1 car is available free of charge in the underground car park of the building.

Changeover day
Departure is at 10.00am and arrivals after 3pm unless arranged differently beforehand. Saturday is the preferred changeover day although other days can be arranged. Just ask!

Golf
Several well-known golf courses are within less than half an hour's drive from Cannes - 10-15km. It is wise to book in advance!
Travel
Nice airport is 25km from Cannes centre. A shuttle bus comes into Cannes every hour and it takes about 30 minutes. The train is practical for exploring along the coast to Italy, Monaco and westwards to Marseille. A car is not essential but useful for exploring the countryside behind the coast - villages such as Valbonne, Gourdon, Mougins.
Distances
Cannes offers a central base for visiting Monaco and even Italy with its local markets. Other places to visit are the local perfume factories in Grasse, museums and art galleries in Antibes, pottery factories in Biot and Vallauris, all within ½ hour's drive.
Further details
If you're not busy soaking up the sun on the famous Croisette, shopping, eating or watching the world (and yachts) go by, there is the old town of Cannes Le Suquet to explore and miles more of beaches along the Golfe de la Napoule or in Antibes and Juan-les-Pins.
Cannes is a shopper's paradise - for designer clothes and jewellry, art or just presents for those back home. Rue d'Antibes is the long street that runs the length of Cannes, from the eastern edge to Rue Félix Faure at the port. Shops of all types are along here, including clothing boutiques and many places with fine gift items. Cannes' movie theaters are along the Rue d'Antibes as well.
Along the famous boulevard de la Croisette and its many side streets are the art galleries, jewelry stores and the most exclusive clothing shops.
Booking notes
Please expect to pay a 30% deposit at time of booking in either UK pounds or Euros and full payment must be made 6 weeks before your arrival date. Linen and towels are included as well as cleaning on your departure. A damage deposit of 200 euros/150UKP is also payable and refunded after your stay when the apartment has been checked as being left in an orderly/undamaged condition.
