Delightful view from the balcony

Le Chapoli is a bright, newly built, furnished apartment in the charming farming hamlet of Vallon d'en Haut, close to the village of Samoens. The apartment is set amongst old stone buildings and timber farmhouses and offers spectacular views from the south facing balcony. Le Chapoli is just 50 metres from the free Navette bus service to the centre of Samoens and the Grand Massif Express telecabine, which provides direct access to high altitude skiing. The Grand Massif is one of the most impressive ski domains in the Alps. In addition to alpine skiing there are extensive 'ski de fond' trails especially close to the River Giffre at Vallon. The beautiful centre of Samoens is protected as a 'Monument Historique'.

It is a 'real' French town with a wonderful range of boulangerie, boucherie, delicatessens, banks, supermarkets, chemists etc. There is a fantastic local market in town every Wednesday and a small cheese factory on the fringe of town with a little shop were you can buy their produce. Whether you are looking for Gourmet or rustic French food - Samoens has plenty of good restaurants and bars. Many offer a range of local specialities such as Fondue, Tartiflette through to steaks and pizza.
