Refurbished, large 1 bedroom apartments (35 sq.m. and 49 sq.m.) in small chalet apartment building. Balconies with impressive views over the valley. Adjacent to piste. Private and peaceful location within easy walking distance of the village centre with its shops, restaurants and bars (5-10 mins walk). You can ski to the piste, via a short path through the woods, approximately 50 metres from the apartment building. From here you can ski to the new Tovets high speed 6 person chairlift. To give you an idea of proximity this lift can be seen clearly from the balcony of the apartment. This chairlift takes you directly to 1850 - a good starting point for exploring the Courchevel ski area or venturing further in to the Three Valleys. The Courchevel terrain park is also accessed from the top of the Tovets chairlift.

Skiing
Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens are linked by a sophisticated lift system to make up the Three Valleys ski area. It is a vast skiing/snowboarding area with 600km of pistes and 200 lifts, as well as many terrain parks and huge off piste opportunities.
Courchevel itself is a true winter paradise with something for everyone - from wide open groomed pistes to narrow couloirs. It is considered to be the most extensive of the Three Valleys with some of the most breathtaking scenery. There are many mountain huts/restaurants in Courchevel which give you the chance to soak up the atmosphere whilst re-charging the batteries.
There is also a floodlit toboggan run between 1850 and 1550. The main gondola stays open in the evening to transport those wishing to have a go. It is definitely worthwhile as it's inexpensive to hire the toboggans and is guaranteed to provide thrills for those who try it and hopefully not too many spills!
Travel
By air: airport(approx transfer time) Lyon (2hrs15) Geneva (2hrs15) Chambery (1hr15) St Etienne (3hrs) - try Easyjet, FlyBE, Ryanair or BMI/BMIBaby.
By train: Eurostar operate weekend services from London Waterloo and Ashford to Moutiers (25 minutes drive from Courchevel). You could take a taxi or there is a bus service to resort.
By Car: Courchevel is about 8 hours drive (not including stops) from Calais. The roads are motorway to Albertville then dual carriageway to Moutiers.
Further details
There is a complimentary resort shuttle service which runs between the villages of Courchevel - La Tania, 1300 (Le Praz), 1550, 1650 and 1850. This service runs every day until around midnight. Also the main gondola between 1550 and 1850 stays open in the evening until approximately 7.30pm.

30% deposit with balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival.
A refundable key and security deposit of £100 (€140) is requested and will be returned to you on your day of departure.
Final cleaning can be arranged at an extra charge - please ask for details.
