This beautifully restored "Maison de Village" set within the heart of Marseillan Ville has everything for a truly wonderful French experience. The 3 storey house has undergone a top to bottom renovation and re-fit to the highest standards including air conditioning, new kitchen and bathrooms. Carefully designed, the ground floor and first floor provide double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms leaving the third floor for luxury open plan kitchen and living area providing immediate access to the roof terrace via a spiral staircase. The fantastic roof terrace with panoramic views over the Etang du Thau to Sete is perfect for dining or relaxing in the sun watching the world go by. Marseillan Ville, famed for its oysters and pink flamingoes is an ancient mediteranean fishing village. Shops and bars are all within walking distance as are the delights of the quayside restaurants offering fresh fish, local produce and superb Languedoc wines.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. We ask our guests to arrive between 16.00 and 20.00 and to vacate the property on departure at 10.00am.

Outside
Fantastic roof terrace with panoramic views over the Etang du Thau to Sete and surrounding areas. There is a barbecue which is ideal for alfresco dining. Alternatively, relax in the Sun and watch the world go by.
Coast/Beach
There are 11 Km of beaches from Marseillan Plage to Sete awarded for their cleanliness. These are approximately 3 Km from Marseillan. Famous beaches to be found all round Cap D'Agde, including a Naturist beach.
Golf
The International Golf course of Cap d'Agde is only 10-15 minutes drive from Marseillan Ville. Another International golf course is to be found at La Grand Motte and a new golf comlex at Beziers (noted for its food).
Skiing
Andorra ski resorts are only one and a half hours away by A9 motorway.
Travel
The nearest airport is Montpellier. You can also fly into Perpignan, Girona (Spain)2 hrs drive with good car hire facilities (fill up before crossing the Spanish border as its cheaper) Carcassone or Nimes. If driving from the UK we recomend The Millau bridge route and would advise you to consult ViaMichelin website with speed camera warnings.
Distances
Agde is a historic volcanic town with the river Herault running through it when it finally meets with the sea and is 7 Km from Marseillan. Other areas of interest are the quaint old villages of Meze and Bouzigue which also border the Etang du Thau. Sete, on the other side of the Etang is home to the largest tuna fishing fleet on the mediterranean.
Further details
Shops, restaurants, supermarkets are all within walking distance of the house as is the local market, held every Tuesday morning in the village. On-street parking is plentiful around the house. If you are interested in sailing, the sailing club inside the marina offers sailing lessons on the Etang to all ages.
Booking notes
A booking form will be sent for completion and must be returned with a 25% deposit for the period booked. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of £100 will be required against any damages etc and refunded upon departure when final inspection has been made.

Excellent, the welcome was warm and the bottle of wine a great touch. Couldn't ask for a better house and a great location. Wonderful to have roof terrace and a full kitchen.
Superb local restaurants, Emilies and the Chateau de Port are both excellent restaurants with a very different ambiance, would certainly recommend all others at the port too. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. SH.
