The apartment is only 100m from the Tramway du Mont Blanc, and 200m from the centre of Saint Gervais. In the winter the apartment is extremely well positioned for access to the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. A ski bus stops directly outside the property and travels the short distance to the Bettex telecabine. It is also possible take the Tramway to Les Houches, part of the nearby Chamonix ski area. In the summer the mountains provide excellent climbing, walking and paragliding opportunities on your doorstep. Saint Gervais also has superb leisure facilities in the town and some great cuisine. The apartment has been fully renovated and refurnished for 2008, with a modern fitted kitchen and wide range of appliances. Ample free parking is available nearby. Overall, ideal for family breaks or group holidays all year round.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival time is after 3.00pm but can sometimes be earlier, on arrangement with the owner. Department time is 10.00am.

Kitchen: Fully fitted brand new kitchen including electric cooker and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. There is a tumble dryer in a separate cupboard in the bathroom.
Living Rooms: Large lounge/dining area with double sofabed and large oak table and bench, providing seating for 6-8 people.
Equipment includes a TV and DVD player, a selection of board games and toys for small children.
Other: Cellar/ski locker on ground floor available to guests to store ski equipment.

Towels and linen available at a supplement of £12 per person. The property is cleaned at the end of each stay.

Skiing
The apartment is extremely well positioned for access to the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area with over 400km of trails. A ski bus stops directly outside the property and travels the short distance to the Bettex telecabine. In peak season the ski bus runs every 10 mins, and off peak about once every 20 mins. It is also possible take the Tramway Mont Blanc, which is just 100m from the apartment, to Les Houches, part of the nearby Chamonix ski area. Les Contamines is a short 10 mins drive away.

Travel
Geneva airport is 70km from Saint Gervais - about an hour by car. Grenoble and Lyon airports are about 2 hours away. Car hire is not essential as regular airport transfers are available from Geneva airport.

Distances
Chamonix - 20km/20 minutes by car.
Megeve - 8km/10 minutes by car.
Thermal Baths - Saint Gervais Les Bains, 4km.

Further details
The apartment is a short walk to the local shops, which include bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and banks. The apartment would be ideal for summer visitors wishing to walk, cycle or paraglide in the area. There are a variety of paragliding lauch sites nearby, and the tramway provides access to the Mont Blanc walking trail. Nearby Chamonix offers a range of summer and winter activities for both adults and children.
