Our villa is an elegant hilltop Provencal villa overlooking the picturesque valley of Plan de la Tour. From the elevated terrace beautiful vistas of the surrounding hills and the vineyards in the valley below abound. The Villa offers a tranquil setting for those wishing to relax but still be within easy reach of all the excitement the Gulf of St Tropez has to offer. Situated 10 minutes from the beaches of St Maxime and short drive to the surrounding villages of Grimaud, Garde Freinet and St Tropez makes it an ideal location from which to explore the region.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros. Cleaning is obligatory every Saturday of your stay and costs 210 Euros per week. Electricity is charged 1 Oct to 30 March at 100 Euros per week. Pool heating is available at 150 Euros per week.

Notes on accommodation
The house has been newly renovated and furnished to an exceptional level.
This is a cool house during summer and benefits from being on a hilltop.
Plan de la Tour village is an unspoiled typical provencal village, full of charm with its old lanes and ancient bell tower. It has fabulous restaurants, a bar, grocery stores, tourist office, pharmacy and its own market on a Thursday morning. The more bustling coastal town of St Maxime is only a 10 mins drive and boasts everything you could possibly look for, from designer shops to 6 kms of golden beaches! There is also a regular ferry service from St Maxime to St Tropez, Cannes and Nice. There are many local activities also including golf, horse riding, sailing, tennis, cycling and canoeing etc.
Outside
The dining/lounge areas have French windows leading onto the vine covered terrace, perfect for enjoying your shady lunches and balmy Mediterranean evenings. The Villa also benefits from a beautiful large tiled swimming pool (6m x 12m). The pool has a pool cover.
There are also secure electric gates with audio intercom and ample parking space for several cars.
The garden contains mature trees and benefits from a fully automatic watering system utilizing the villas well water, so the garden stays fresh and green all year around. The swimming pool and the main grounds of the villa are not overlooked /shared and are for holidaymakers exclusive use.
Coast/Beach
Driving time to beaches to the beautiful beaches of St Maxime is approx 10 mins or 8 kms. Nartelle is approx 9 kms where you can ski. Incredible beaches in this area - must be seen with View of St Tropez accross the bay.
Driving time to beaches of St Tropez is approx 30 mins or 18 kms.
Golf
5 km's to St Maxime Golf Course (18 holes) or Beauvallon approx 10 km's
Travel
Toulon is the nearest airport and is 40 minutes away, while Nice Airport is 1 hr 15 mins drive. Marseille is 1 hr 30 mins drive. These airports are severed by many major airlines including British airways as well as Easyjet and Ryan air.
Plan de la Tour can be accessed from Exit 36 (Le Muy) of the A8 (freeway running from Nice to Aix). Take Plan de la Tour exit and our house is on the road between Plan de la Tour and the hamlet of Vallaury.

Notes to the rental rates & General Conditions: After your reservation you will receive our written reservation and invoice. You are requested to sign this & send it back to us, which means that you agree to the rent and general conditions. NB: You have four days to confirm booking by return of signed contract and produce proof of payment (faxed copy of deposit or bank transfer).
Deposit required to secure booking is 50 % of the cost of the rental period. Water, Electricity, Gas & Tourist Tax These costs are not included in the renting price. This is 100 Euros extra per week. The use of all linen is included. Cleaning is charged at 120 Euros (one week), 200 Euros (two weeks). Cleaning is obligatory.
Rental Period : Minimum stay 7days, starting on Sat16.00 pm till Sat 10.00 am. Reservations/Payments: After your reservation you will receive our written reservation and invoice.
Cancellation: Up to 8 weeks before arrival: cancellation costs are 50% of the total rent excluding guarantee. If you cancel within 8 weeks you have to pay the full rent (excluding guarantee). We therefore advise a cancellation policy. Villa Guarantee: 800. These amounts cover eventual damages, breakages, additional cleaning, etc. If there is no damage, the guarantee will be returned to you. Cleaning: The Villa will be perfectly clean on arrival. Every Saturday during your stay our femme de menage will come and clean. This is obligatory.
Number of guests: There is a maximum of 7 sleeping guests. If these maximums are exceeded the rent can be terminated immediately without compensation.
Barbecues: This can only be used after consultation with the owner and depends of the weather conditions. Responsibility during your stay: You are legally responsible for house (incl. furniture). A third party insurance is obligatory to confirm your booking. If you do not have insurance please contact owner for details.

About the owner
We came to stay in Plan de la Tour for 3 months via a friend. We fell in love with the are and immediately went searching for a villa. We stumbled upon Le Casaou and bought it. We have never looked back. Its our French dream. We go to the beach in the morning and then go home for lunch and sit by the pool in the afternoons. Its such a huge pool! Its a dreamy villa, great for romance and great for families. We love sitting on the terrace drinking Rose and watching the sunset - the view. It's incredible. I love Le Casaou.
