The large open plan ground floor area centres on a 180 degree log burner with large comfortable sofas, satellite flat screen television, DVD player and sound system. For the more traditional a selection of family games and books are available for all your entertainment needs. 3 sets of patio doors lead from the lounge to the terrace with 180 degree views over the Giffre valley and steps leading down to a large garden, where barbecues can be enjoyed as you watch the sunset over the mountains. Irish owned and managed Chalet Setanta is only a 5 minute drive into the traditional Alpine village of Morillon where you find a boulangerie, pharmacy and bank. The village also boasts a large swim lake, outdoor pool and tennis courts as just a small example of the vast summer activties on offer.

Outside
The large garden surrounding the chalet has fabulous views of the Giffre valley and is perfect for barbecues. Outdoor furniture and loungers are provided for your comfort so sit back and watch the sun set behind the mountains.
Golf
There are several 18 hole golf courses near within a 20 minute drive of the chalet. however there are 2 only 10 minutes away at Les Carroz and Samoens. For the less serious golfer there are driving ranges pitch and put and 9 hole courses throughout the area - details are in the chalet.
Skiing
The Grand Massif boasts 265km of piste and is linked through the resorts of Morillon, Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt.
The closest lift to the Chalet is Morillon (5 minute car ride). If conditions permit try the cascade run 14km of piste through forest with fabulous scenery - a run suitable for the whole family. Grand Massif ski area is suitable for beginners, intermediate and very advanced skiers. We can help organise lessons, guiding, off piste trips as well as snowshoeing and heli skiing. your winter holiday can be tailored to meet all requirements.
Special interest holidays
Morillon is as popular in the summer as it is in the winter. With 900km of walking trails and mountain bike tracks, white water rafting, canoeing, paragliding, horse riding and climbing. There is also a fabulous swim lake, outdoor pool, tennis courts water skiing. We can help organise guides and give advice on any activity you wish to try.
Travel
Geneva airport is a 50 minute drive away. The main railway station is in Cluses 15 minutes by car.
Distances
There are many beautiful towns and villages with in easy access of the Chalet. Samoens and sixt are 10 mins away, with Chamonix and Annecy only 30 mins by car. You can also visit the Portes Soleil ski area only a 20 mins drive.
