Croquignolet is cute and cosy. It is ideally suited as a romantic getaway for a busy couple who need to have time to relax and unwind. The property is situated on a large area of land and backs onto open farmland. In the evenings, the cottage lends itself to lounging in front of the fire in the winter, or eating out on the patio and catching the evening sun in the summer. Being on the edge of the village, the centre of Seglien is only a pleasant 3 minute stroll away, ideal for wandering up to get your French baguette and croissant each morning. The local creperie and art studio is known throughout the area and the tabac is a great place to meet the friendly locals.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Short stays in mid and low season are welcome. Midweek to midweek bookings will be considered.
Changeover day
During the high season, this is ususally a Saturday. However, please contact us to confirm.

| Bathrooms: | En-Suite from the bedroom. Brand new fitted bathroom with massage shower, toilet, sink unit and heated towel rail. |
| Kitchen: | Brand new fitted kitchen. Appliances include cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a kettel, toaster, cafetiere, fondue and raclette machine (so our guests can try out true French cuisine). |
| Living Rooms: | Cozy lounge with wood burning stove. the L-shaped settee allows our guests to fully relax after a day of exploring the local area. there is a selection of board games and playing cards as well as a CD player, DVD and TV. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Other than during the summer months, guests are expoected to bring their own linen and towels. a cleaning service is available at an extra charge. |

Coast/Beach
With Le Lac de Guerledan and the Brest/Nantes canal right on the doorstep many leisure activities can be focused on the water: sailing, canoeing, rowing, water skiing, swimming or just relaxing by the lake on one of the many beaches.
The southern beaches can be reached in 40 minutes, the Northern coast including St. Malo, in 90 minutes and the western beaches in approximately 2 hours.

Located at Bieuzy Les Eaux, just 25 minutes drive from Seglien is the beautiful Golf De Rimaison. Situated amoungst ancient ruins this 9 hole golf course has a spectacular setting that makes the golf enjoyable no matter how well you are playing or how experienced you are. For the serious golfer trips further afield towards Lorient will bring you to 4 or 5 top golf courses to test your skills on.
Travel
Brittany Ferries (www.brittany-ferries.co.uk) links St-Malo and Roscoff (both 90 mins from Seglien) with Portsmouth and Plymouth.
Direct flights into Brittany are from airports throughout the UK.

£100 non-refundable deposit is required on booking.
Full payment should be receive by cheque at least 2 months prior to departure. (Short/weekend breaks and late bookings have different conditions - please email the owners)
£100 refundable damage deposit (cheque) is required at the time of Full payment.
Guest comments
We loved Seglien. The local people were very friendly, we loved the creperie too, so child friendly. We loved Pontivy, especially the walks along the river and the cafe culture, some lovely cafes, went to so many! Montcontour was stunning, amazing medieval village, as was Josselin - wanted to go back again but not time. Chateau Scusscino was fab and walked to beach from there, went inside too and well worth a visit, the girls loved to explore and nice creperie next door. Visited Port Crouesty, very nice walk along harbour, great Italian ice cream shop (cant miss it!), Had the most amazing Goan meal in Gueneme sur Scorff (must try onion bahjis). Also went to Loudeac and Ploermel - pleasant towns but didn't find exciting. St.Aignan, Clegerec and Mur de Bretagne were pretty. Great holiday, would definately go back.
