Mas Crouanques, is a luxurious, magnificently restored mas near Ceret with the Modern Art Museum, Collioure, city of painters, 30 mn from the Spanish border, or Amélie les Bains, lovely spa town. The mas with a 12 x 6 m pool is next to a 10thC manor, one of the oldest properties in that part of France. The house sleeps 6 p. and has been beautifully and authentically restored to the highest standard. No expense has been spared in the renovation work or the furniture. Bathrooms and the kitchen are finished with antique marble. All floors are terracotta. Most of the furniture is antique. Very spacious, the mas is more than 250 metres squared, reached by a winding mountain road that leads to a few villages, the mas is surrounded by very spectacular scenery. The private terrace off the kitchen has the most stunning view. The pool is shared with owners when they come to stay at the manor. That property is ideal for those who appreciate nature and the rich history of Catalan region.

90 mn drive to Fon Romeu, Les Angles, Andorra. Or in Spain Walter 2000.

As the Romans and Wisigoths used to do 2000 years ago, come also to Amélie les Bains for a thermal cure at 240 m. altitude.
Take advantage of a 4 or 5 days package in this beautiful spa city where the sulfurous warm spring water is recognised for its beneficial effects against many rheumatism and respiratory problems.

Girona airport 1 h 15 mn (Ryanair), Perpignan Airport 60 mn.(Air France, Ryanair, Flybe), Carcassonne (2 hours). Cheap flights from London, Stansted, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol, Doncaster and Blackpool.
