Villa des Maures is situated on a peaceful, hillside location on the prestigious Domaine du Golfe. The villa has stunning panoramic sea views over the Gulf of St Tropez and the Mediterranean can be seen from pretty much every room in the house. This beautiful villa was built in 2002 and has been redecorated to a very high standard. It boasts a contemporary and spacious interior which is furnished with all mod cons to cater for the needs of the whole family. Where the house excels is the merging of inside and outside space. The whole of the ground floor opens on to the outside terrace, providing summer visitors with a fantastic outdoor lifestyle and superb views at all times. The villa has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The pool is heated. It is ideally placed for visiting the town or the beaches and is less than 10 minutes drive to the centre of St Maximne or the sandy beaches of La Nartelle. The club house of St Maxime golf course is only 5 minutes walk away.

Outside
With its south facing aspect and sheltered position, the Villa is ideal for sun worshippers although plenty of shade is available as well. The villa is great all year round and is cleverly positioned to avoid the Mistral. The villa is secluded and secure and offers stunning panoramic sea views over the Bay of St Tropez. The infinity pool is heated (at no additional cost between 1st May-30th September) and measures 9.5x5m. There is a private garden to the side of the pool. There are 6 wooden sun loungers and a covered terrace with Dedon sofas and an outside dining table seating 10. Large gas Weber BBQ.
Coast/Beach
10 min drive to the sandy beach of La Nartelle where many beach clubs and water sports can be found. Large free carpark. Ste Maxime town is a 10 min drive. Walking distance to St Maxime Golf Club and Hotel.
Golf
Situated on the Domaine du Golf the villa is a 5 min walk to the club house of the Ste Maxime Golf course. The 18th fairway can be seen from the villa. Other golf courses close by include La Beauvallon.
Travel
Nice airport is approx 75 mins by car. Toulon airport is about 55 mins by car. A car is recommended.
Distances
Ste Maxime town is a 10 min drive. The glamorous resorts of Cannes, Nice, Port Grimaud, St Raphael, Frejus and St Tropez are all a car journey away. Further away are the beautiful towns of Mougins, St Paul de Vence and the Gorges du Verdun.

Ste Maxime is a palm fringed seaside town facing St Tropez on the other side of the gulf. The bustling town has numerous restaurants offering a variety of Provençal dishes and other styles of cooking to suit all tastes and pockets. There are various weekly markets including a ‘Capet’ Food market, local produce market and flea market. Ste Maxime has a harbour for hiring day boats and a ferry to St Tropez (every 15 mins running until past midnight at peak times). There are numerous activities including most water sports, an Aqua Park, horse riding, tennis and a casino. There are splendid walks in the forested hills of the Maures overlooking the gulf and a good number of excellent golf courses nearby with the bonus of some beautiful views.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is payable on bookings over one week. A further 25% due 12 weeks before the start of your holiday with the final balance of 50% due 4 weeks prior to arrival. A 50% deposit is required on one week bookings with 50% due 4 weeks prior to arrival. A £500 security deposit is also payable on all bookings at time of final payment.

Our family rented Villa des Maures for the first three weeks of June 2008. It was our first time to rent a Villa in France and it must be said that the courtesy and efficiency of the owners Pauline and Stephen Skerrett made the whole process very easy and everything was organized with the minimum of fuss. At the other end of the rental the same applied and the deposit was returned quickly once the Villa was checked after our stay.
