Family accommodation in the heart of the Breton countryside. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms and a spacious living area. There is a large garden, and the properties are safe for children. There is ample car parking, with garden furniture and a barbecue for each cottage. Locrio is close to good local beaches (about 40 mins by car) and there are also many other activities such as countryside walks, lakes, fishing, golf and cycle-hire for you to choose from. There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool in nearby Pontivy. You can also visit the historic towns and villages in the area, and the many beautiful old churches. Brittany is a fascinating area to explore by car, on foot, or by bike – we have plenty of storage space, so bring your bike. There is heating (wood-burning stoves downstairs and electronic heating upstairs) in both cottages if required. Strictly non-smoking. Sorry no pets.

| This cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, the other with sturdy bunk-beds. The shower room is upstairs.There is also a fully-equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee-maker. There is a spacious living area with comfortable seating and a radio/CD player, plenty of books, games and magazines. Guests have bed-linen and towels provided (but not beach-towels) and access to the laundry room, with washing-machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities and a freezer. A cot and highchair are available on request. | |

The cottages are ideal for families or couples wanting a relaxing holiday. The owners live on site and can be contacted easily for help or information.

Locrio is close to some of Brittany's best beaches (about 40 mins by car) and there are also many other activities such as countryside walks, lakes, fishing, and cycle-hire for you to choose from.
Golf
The nearest golf course is Golf de Rimaison, a 10 mins drive away. There is a wide variety of other courses, both 9 and 18-hole within an easy drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Dinard, 1 hour's drive.
The port of St Malo is about 90 minutes and Roscoff is just over one hour away.
A car is recommended.
Distances
The village of Guern is a 5-minute drive and Guéméné-sur-Scorff is under 10-minutes away.
Pontivy, with its cafés, bars, crêperies, delightful shops and larger supermarkets is a 10-minute drive.
The vibrant port of Vannes has a range of quality shops and restaurants, an art gallery, a popular market and can be reached in about 45 mins. Hennebont hosts the largest market in Brittany every Thursday and is not to be missed!
Carnac's standing-stones are world-famous.

Guern has a boulangerie and general store, run by Sylvie and Roland, ideal for your morning croissants and daily needs.
The nearest ATM is in Guéméné-sur-Scorff where there are also two small supermarkets, a butcher's, three boulangeries, several bars and a tourist information office. The nearest restaurants are here, too.
Lac Guerlédan has boat-hire, a beach and lakeside walks.
At St Nicolas-des-Eaux there are level walks along the towpath of the River Blavet and a riverboat tour.
Markets abound throughout the region with a delightful range of delicious local produce.
Easy cycle routes and walks are plentiful and ideal for younger children.
There are many cultural events, exhibitions and architectural and historical sights to be visited.
