Beautiful 18th century stone Bergerie located in a small peaceful hamlet. It has the tranquility of a country residence but is not isolated. The property is over 300 square meters and offers luxurious accommodation. New kitchen and baths offer modern amenities in the original farm buildings which still have an old pigsty! Privacy is guaranteed by entry through a private courtyard. Surrounded by old stone walls and tall hedges, which help block the Mistral. Outdoor living is possible for a large portion of the year The poolhouse has seating and eating areas. The pool set among olive trees is fenced and has own outdoor shower and toilet. Adjacent to kitchen is a covered eating are which opens to a large stone patio area.

Outside
Large private 12 x 6 meter pool with diving board, set in olive trees with outdoor shower and adjacent WC. Chaise longues and La Fuma chairs to relax on.
Covered outdoor eating area near pool has a BBQ. This is beside a flat garden area.
Entry courtyard, through lockable gates, is very private and can park several cars. Has a covered carport. More parking is accessible on north side of house behind second set of gates. Enjoy playing boules in courtyard or flat garden area. On edges of Luberon and walks very accessible. Bicycle route Lauris to Lourmarin passes by Great country backroads to walk into Lourmarin. Bicyles at house for your use.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is at Cassis, a great small fishing port, about 1 hours drive. There is also a lake nearby.
Golf
Pont Royal golf course close by.
Travel
Airport access: 45 mins from Marseille/Marignane , 2 hrs from Nice, 45 mins from Avignon, 1.5hrs from Montpellier.
TGV/Eurostar: 1hr from either Avignon or Aix-en-Provence stations. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Lourmarin is 3mins drive or leisurely 30min walk.
Aix-en-Provence is 30 to 40 mins.
Avignon is 45 mins
Isle sur la Sorgue is 45 mins
St Remy is 45 mins
Orange/Arles/Uzes/Camargue 1 hr
Luberon villages (Menerbes, Bonnieux, Gordes, Apt) 15 to 45 mins.
A great location to explore the Roman ruins and also go to the beach!

Lots of local wineries for wine tasting.

Booking may be done by email or fax. We ask for 50% to hold rental, total to be paid 90 days prior to rental period. Security deposit of 1000 euros to be paid prior to arrival. Refunded as soon as possible after departure.
