Beausoleil is situated in the small hamlet of Le Bost but within easy driving or walking distance of Jumilhac le Grand. Set in its own private grounds, it gives everything you need for a quiet and relaxing holiday and provides a safe environment for children to play. There is a large pool to relax in on those hot summer days which is set within the gite garden which also has BBQ equipment and outdoor furniture where you can sit and make the most of the long summer evenings.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday and we ask our guests not to arrive before 5pm and to depart by 10am, we can be flexible but only by prior arrangement.

There is a log burner if required with a small extra charge for wood.
Accessibility
Although not suitable for wheelchair users, there is a large bedroom and bathroom with separate toilet and walk-in shower situated on the ground floor, ideal for guests suffering from mobility problems.
Outside
Private gardens and BBQ and eating areas with outdoor furniture. Sole use of pool. Beausoleil is an ideal environment for children, set in its own private grounds with outdoor play equipment and badminton set. There are also bicycles that can be used at your leisure.

Distances
Beausoleil is only 5 mins from the chateau town of Jumilhac le Grand. Thiviers is a 20 minute drive away through wonderful countryside. It has 4 good size supermarkets, Simply, Lidl, Leader Price and Champion. It is known as the Foie Gras capital and hosts an excellent market every Saturday morning. There are also night markets and a wine and antique fair during the summer months.
Further details
St Yrieix la Perche is only 12 km away and has 2 hypermarkets and a large supermarket stocking everything you will need to make your holiday stress-free and enjoyable. It also has plenty to see and hosts a regular traditional Friday Market. If you want to enjoy the local cuisine there are a selection of restaurants to choose from. Not only has Beausoleil got a Chateau nearby situated in the small town of Jumilhac le Grand but the area surrounding Beausoleil is ideal for walking, cycling and for bird watching of which there are plenty. There is a wide selection of places to visit including the market towns of Thiviers and Perigueux and also within an hour you can reach the wine areas of Bergerac and a little further West, Bordeaux, both famous for their red wines. Sarlat and Saint Emilion are also close enough to be able to visit during the day and then return to the peace and quiet that Beausoleil offers.
Booking notes
When a booking is made a booking form is sent out straight away and a 20% deposit is required, the balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Included in the cost of the holiday electricity/linen/towels. We will be happy to provide an evening meal on arrival with prior arrangement.
