Great location. Historical Quimper, its cobbled street and cathedral is great for culture and shopping. Its Celtic festival takes place every July. It's half an hour drive from here. Further south, in Lorient (an hour drive) you can enjoy the inter celtic festival in August. Concarneau, fishing port and its ramparts is 30 minutes away. The bustling Chateaulin, the main area for salmon fishing is a 20 minutes drive. The medieval town of Locronan, a place used as the setting of Tess of the d'Ubervilles is 40 minutes away. Several beaches provide opportunities for sailing, kite surfing and canoeing. They are only 30kms away. The Pointe du Raz and the Bay of Douarnenez and Crozon offer breathtaking views. Great places for hiking and enjoying nature. Chateauneuf, the nearest town (10 mins) offers shopping facilities, banks and restaurants. Brest, featuring Oceanopolis and the naval port is just an hour drive. It's ideal for shopping too. Roscoff ferry port is an hour drive.

The famous Bays (Douarnenez 35 minutes) and Crozon (40 minutes) are wonderful places for hiking, sunbathing or enjoying breathtaking views. Bustling Concarneau and its ramparts is great to visit (30 minutes from here). Lovely fishing ports are just an hour drive.

Brest airport is an hour drive. Roscoff ferry port is an hour drive. Quimper airport is 35 minutes by car.
