For couples looking for high quality accommodation and somewhere special to stay in France, in a more rural relaxed setting, we are offering sophisticated adult accommodation with French elegance and country charm. Whether it is for a honeymoon, wedding anniversary, birthday treat or simply to ‘get away from it all’ it is the ideal setting for the occasion. The farmhouse is set in 3 acres of grounds at the end of a country lane. Each apartment has its own private garden and parking. To greet your arrival wine, cheese and French bread. Breakfast provisions of milk, cereal, orange juice, croissants, preserves, butter and eggs from our free range chickens will be provided. We offer flexible lengths of stay, with arrival on any day. The village has its own Tabac/shop for daily fresh bread and croissants, a butcher, post office, garage and a beautiful 16th century church. We also have there a museum providing information about the National Park, including the nearby lakes.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros, and include linen, towels and electricity,along with breakfast provisions and wine, cheese and baguette.Short breaks are available all year around from 2 nights, prices from 30 euros per person per night. First basket of logs also included. Further logs can be purchased at a cost of 4 euros per basket if required.

Changeover day
Arrival any day. Check in after 4pm unless by prior arrangement, departure 10.30am.

Approached by wrought iron staircase on the outside of the farm house to first floor apartment with wonderful views across fields and countryside.
The Versailles is 55 sq.m. of total luxury.
The lounge area has a log burning fire,
Hand made king size mahogany half tester bed finished in French white and graced with crisp French linen.
A large corner double whirlpool bath is a special feature in the room.
En-suite bathroom with separate hydro-massage shower, and heated towel rail.
Fluffy towels, bathrobes and bubble bath all provided.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, coffee maker all crockery and glassware and has a marble topped dining table and chairs.
The apartment has the added bonus of breakfast provisions provided for the length of your stay, along with wine, cheese and baguette on arrival.
The Versaille has its own private garden with garden furniture and barbeque and stunning views of farmland and forest

This apartment is on the ground floor, with no steps or stairs, and has a private garden with bbq.
The Chantilly is an impressive 55 sq.m.
Lounge area where the original large inglenook fire place containing a beautifully wood burner, takes pride of place. Facilities include satellite TV, DVD, video, stereo system leather sofa and coffee table.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, coffee maker all crockery and glassware and has a marble topped dining table and chairs.The apartment has the added bonus of breakfast provisions provided for the length of your stay, along with wine, cheese and baguette on arrival. It has a handmade mahogany King size French Rococo style bed finished in French white and graced with crisp French linen.
An en-suite bathroom with large corner double Whirlpool bath with shower over and heated towel rail, fluffy towels, bath robes and bubble bath included.

 

Notes on accommodation
All the accommodation has electric heating for the winter periods, and ironing board and Iron, fans, extractor fans. An initial basket of logs is also included in the price. We offer arrival any day and short breaks from 2 nights at a cost from 30 euros per person per night. Breakfast provisions included, as is linen, electricity, and there are no cleaning charges. The apartments are for couples only. All accommodation is strictly non smoking. We do not take pets.#

Special for winter breaks- A main meal will be provided free of charge on your arrival during Oct - Mar 09 per couple with bookings of 4 nights and over (please contact us for details or see website).

Accessibility
The Chantilly apartment and garden is all on the ground floor and has no steps or stairs in or out.

Outside
Both apartments have individual private gardens equipped with garden furniture and barbeques. They have private, off road parking. There are benches to enjoy the views or a relaxing glass of wine. This is all set at the end of a quiet lane, accessing our house and 1 other, there are stunning views over the Armorique national park abundant in wildlife and birds, a truly relaxing place to be, yet close to ammenities. There are bikes and maps for guests to use around the lanes or just to bike to the local tabac and enjoy a local beer or glass of red.

Coast/Beach
As a French holiday region Brittany runs a close second to the Cote d’Azur with more than 1,000km of sand, far more than the Rivera offers and less crowded. Within 30 minutes drive the beaches of Finistere offer white sandy beaches, rocky coves, as well as hill top walks and rugged coastline. Most of the beaches nearby are quiet even in the busy times. There are inland beaches on remote estuaries and alongside local lakes. The coastal beaches are clean and pollution is rare.

Golf
Brittany now has over 30 Golf courses. The course at Landerneau, 30 minutes drive, is certainly one of the most challenging courses in Brittany and ranked 13th in all France . Built on high ground, the course is thoughtfully laid out with a variety of holes, some of which are very long. The fairways tend to be tight and the rough can be punishing, but beginners can warm up on the 9 hole course before tackling the full 18. The course at Brest -Plouarzel Near Brest and close to the coast on the western tip of Finistère, this interesting course runs along a wooded valley, amongst granite stones. Its natural beauty has been enhanced by water hazards which have been built and must be crossed on holes 3 and 8. A challenge to any golfer and after an exhilarating game the friendly clubhouse awaits!

Travel
Brest is our nearest airport approximately 45 minutes drive. Car hire is available from the airport. A map will be available to make it easy for you to find us. Also weekend break specialists fly into Quimper airport 30 minutes drive from us. Roscoff port is 45 mins drive, and St.Malo is 2 hours.

Distances
The village of Loqueffret is a 2 minute drive, Huelgoat is less than 10 min drive with its supermarket and restaurants. Quimper is full of cosmopolitan shops and a beautiful cathedral. Please see our web site for comprehensive details of the local area and places to visit.

Booking notes
Please contact us for availablility. At the time of booking we require a 25% non-refundable deposit,for bookings of more than 6 months ahead the option is available of sending a deposit of 50 euros with the remainder of the 25% to be sent 6 months previous to the booking date. The balance 1 month in advance of arrival date.
