Changeover day
In the high season of July and August, Saturdays are the change-over days, but arrivals outside this period are flexible. Please ask if you have special flight prices as arrival dates other than Saturdays MAY be accommodated.

Bedrooms: Bedroom has double bed with access via French windows to the larger sun-bathing terrace. The salon has full-size double bed in convertible sofa.
Bathrooms: Bathroom with bath, basin and shower over bath. Mural on wall. Light Provençal decor. Separate WC.
Kitchen: Kitchen has electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment. All newly-fitted in white with wooden worktops.
Living Rooms: Living room is modern and light with French windows opening onto the smaller dining terrace / sea views. White sofa (convertible) and easy chairs, terra cotta tiled floor with rug, mock traditional working fire and ornate murals depicting the sea views.
Other: Off the kitchen and salon is a small dining area again with an amusing 'parrot on perch' mural. This is a really useful addition to an apartment for internal dining should the weather be unseasonally not be at its best!
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen can be hired locally and pre-ordered. The apartment is cleaned after each end-of-stay and should guests want extra cleaning this can be arranged.

 

Notes on accommodation
Being close to the beach at Miramar the apartment is excellent for a small family, but equally just a couple wanting a little more luxury overlooking the Esterel coast and yet within easy striking distance of Cannes. Quiet area still unspoilt by over-commercialisation with National Parkland all around boasting 200 kilometres of walks and mountain bike trails.

Outside
Unusual for an apartment, there is a garden sun-bathing terrace as well as a raised terrace with a smaller table and dining chairs outside the salon overlooking the coastline. Barbecues are possible though not provided. Pool is shared and has superb views of the coast from various terraces surrounding it. Size of the pool is approximately 18 metres X 6 metres and is for exclusive use of the residents and guests of the domaine.

Coast/Beach
Miramar has a sandy beach and is within walking distance from the apartment. Here there are bars and excellent restaurants, but there is only one local general store for provisions, so a car is essential.

Golf
Close to golf in Mandelieu, Mougins and Valbonne as well as towards St Raphaël at Valescure.

Skiing
Skiing resorts at Isola 2000, Auron and Valberg are approximately one and three quarter hour's drive making it easy to go skiing just for the day!

Special interest holidays
All requests of guests can be accommodated with local artisans, schools and special interests. Given a little notice we can help arrange most things.

Travel
Nice is 45 minutes' drive from the apartment. The TGV arrives in Fréjus or Nice and there are two local train stations at Le Trayas or Théoule, but neither are within walking distance.

Distances
Driving times are: St Tropez 1hr and 20 mins. , St Raphaël 30 mins., Cannes 25 mins., Nice 45 mins., Monte Carlo 1 hour, Northern Italy 1 hr. 40 mins., Grasse 35 mins. There are so many places of interest so quickly accessible and unforgettable from the apartment, it is difficult to elaborate on all of them, but please ask for other destinations, markets etc.

Further details
The local shop is just about within walking distance, but for supermarket shopping it is necessary to return to Mandelieu about 8 kilometres. There are other smaller shops closer at Théoule and La Napoule respectively 5 kms. and 7kms. Local markets abound on different days of the week.

Booking notes
Bookings are taken with a 25% deposit and balances payable 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit is also necessary, returnable on departure.
