Modern two-bedroom apartment in traditional mountain chalet style with excellent views of the Mt. Blanc Massif and Chamonix valley. Just 100m from the Bellevue cable car, nearest ski slope and the route of the 'Tour de Mt. Blanc', our apartment is ideally located for summer and winter family holidays. Built in 2002, the 45 square metre three room apartment is very comfortable and well furnished.

Towels and linen provided. Heating turned on in the winter, beds made before arrival, local contact if tenants have a problem. Apartment cleaned every time after rental. |

Outside
Large 25 square metre balcony/terrace fully decked and enclosed to waist height. Ideal for small children as it does not get too much direct sun so they can play safely. Views of the Mt. Blanc Massif and up the Chamonix valley. Four garden chairs and table provided for the balcony.

Skiing
Les Houches is the largest of five separate ski areas in the Chamonix valley. It is where the French ski team trains and occasionally hosts world cup downhill races. The skiing is mainly intermediate on the north side but good for beginners and children at the top and on the south facing slopes. Linked to the other areas by a ski bus in the valley. Other areas in the Chamonix valley are Brevent/Flegere - which is linked by a cable car. Intermediate runs with great views of the Mt. Blanc. Argentiere/Les Grands Montets - famous ski area for advanced and off piste skiers. Although there are some blue and red runs. Le Tour - situated at the head of the valley with open expanse skiing with easy slopes. See www.chamonix.com for more details.

Nearest international airport: Geneva at 80 kms (60 mins).
Nearest ferry port: Calais at 800 kms (All motorway 7.5 - hours driving + stops).
Nearest railway station: St Gervais Les Bains - Le Fayet at 10 kms (connect to local train to Chamonix at 6 kms then use bus/taxi to Les Houches. There is a station in Les Houches but it is away from the village and no bus/taxi stops near it.

Further details
Les Houches has two supermarkets, two boulangeries, one bank with ATM, a good tourist information centre with posted weather reports, a weekly market, ski rental shops and several bars/restaurants. There are several tennis courts, children's playground, a tree top adventure course for children 4 years and over in Les Houches. Chamonix has an excellent sports centre with several pools and an adventure park. There are numerous rock climbing areas in the valley and an indoor climbing wall in Les Houches.

£50 deposit at time of booking. Balance due 8 weeks before departure. Please provide a separate cheque of £250 damage deposit. A cheque for £250 will be returned after your holiday subject to any damage or severe cleaning deductions. Minimum rental of 7 nights.
