This recently modernised farm house is ideal for families and groups. It is set in fantastically beautiful hilly countryside in a small hamlet of 6 houses and is surrounded by fields, an orchard and happy cows! It is 2 miles from junction 39 on A84 Caen / Rennes motorway, 50 miles from the port at Caen, 11 miles from Vire and 15 miles from St Lo. There are large supermarkets etc in Vire. The local village has a shop, baker, garage, hairdresser, butcher and bar. The house is very peaceful and stands about 50 yards back from a very quiet by-road. It has a well maintained, fully enclosed garden with a large BBQ area, 18ft diam above ground swimming pool and a play area with goal posts etc for children.

Changeover day
Arrival after 4pm Saturday, departure by 10am Saturday. Change over day variable out of season. Short breaks possible out of season.

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms are accessed seperately from the landings. The house has been designed with children in mind.
Accessibility
The house is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
Well maintained, half acre garden with children’s play area with goal posts etc. There is a large BBQ on the patio immediately outside the kitchen with garden tables and chairs. There is an 18ft 1 metre deep above ground pool for the exclusive use of guests. Parking on the drive for up to 5 cars.
Coast/Beach
Both the North and West coast beaches are easily accessed from the house. The average distance is about 30 miles.
Golf
There are various golf courses in the area. The nearest - about 10 miles is outside Vire.

Caen 50 miles. Cherbourg 70 miles. St Malo 70 miles. Le Havre 105 miles. Dieppe 160 miles. Boulogne 240 miles. Calais 270 miles. Dinard (airport) 75 miles. It is not practical to stay at the house without transport.

Pont Farcy 2 miles. Vire 11 miles. St Lo 15 miles.
Further details
There are 3 good local restaurants within 5 miles. Vire has major supermarkets, shops and banks. Vire also has a large water centre with slides, tubes etc. Local amenities include white water rafting, canoes, kayaks, tennis, crazy golf, windsurfing and sailing on local lake, horse riding, good country walks, golf, velorail, bungy jumping. There are also many attractions in the area including Mt St Michel, D Day sites, chateaux, Bayeux tapestry, zoos, children's play parks and numerous places of interest.

£50 deposit on booking. Balance due either by sterling cheque (at exchange rate to be agreed at the time) to reach owner not later than 28 days prior to the start of the booking or in cash (euros only) on arrival.
