Accommodation comprises: 3 double and 2 single bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room with conservatory. Terrace adjoins fully equipped kitchen, piano, books. Garden includes large pool, pool house, patio, shower, writer's studio and pine shaded area. 5 minutes walk to village with shops, markets, tennis, and fresh water spring and gourmet restaurants. Sailing, windsurfing, beaches, Gorges du Verdon, Michelin starred restaurants, cultural sites within 45 minutes.

Distances
Several villages of note are within 20 km of Bargemon, which is itself a destination for many. The village which has been featured in Conde Nast, The New York Times and other publications several times, is home to several world celebrities.
Further details
Several good restaurants, one pretending to be gourmet (perhaps is), two banks, one post office, a mini supermarket, a fruit and vegetable shop, a butcher, two hairdressers.
A Michelin starred restaurant for serious eaters 15mn drive away.
As for the village - prepare to be enchanted: Bargemon (500m above sea level) has medieval origins and is a good example of a typical Provencal village. Daily life is still in the provencal tradition all year round, accommodating to the annual swell of tourists while still retaining its local charm. Every narrow street in the village, every shaded square and fountain is an historical reminder. Close by are other delightful villages like Bargeme, and there is easy access the lakes of St. Cassien, St Croix and France's compact Grand Canyon, the Gorges du Verdon.
In addition to its arresting scenery, Bargemon is known for its pure spring water (which can be bottled free).
Booking notes
£500 deposit to secure the booking, with the remainder of the rent due two months before moving in.
There is a £90 cleaning fee charge.
Guest comments
Hard to say what we enjoyed most. The beautiful lavender and pink oleander around the pool, the beautiful view of Bargemon from the front table having a leisurely dinner (or breakfast), or the delightful veranda off the kitchen. Add to that classical music, wonderful books, the comfort and warmth of your home. We had a wonderful time and have wonderful memories of living for two weeks in Provence as though we belonged in Provence. Thank you for having us in your home, and I hope we shall stay in touch.
What can I say? My second daughter and I arrived very late at night, very tired, and still even in the dark there was the VIEW! Amazing us as it had done the rest of the family earlier on in the day. Bargemon is by far the loveliest village we have seen and we have seen many as we are looking for our own place as you know. truly feel like we have fallen in the land of enchantment.
