My name is Grazyna and I have been running this beautiful and established Guesthouse in the medieval town of Malestroit for 6 years now. As you can see from the photos all the rooms are tastefully decorated and have a light, spacious and restful atmosphere. I have a good range of rooms and also have a self contained garden apartment which is suitable for large families or groups (up to 6). The town of Malestroit is full of character (it's over 1000 years old) and has many traditional bars and restaurants on offer. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and with the Nantes Brest canal on the doorstep, it's a great place to explore by bicycle, boat or car. The famous seaside city of Vannes is 25km away (a 20 minute drive). Josselyn with its glorious Chateau is also 20 minutes away. Brittany is a luscious and verdant region and has so much to offer. I welcome any enquiries and we cater for families and well-behaved pets are also welcome.

Morroccan Room - Double. Cool, restful room overlooking garden with en-suite.
Yellow room - Large and spacious double room, with shower and sink, can sleep 3.
White Room - Large and peaceful double room, with full en-suite. Overlooking 2 sides of the garden.
Green Room - Unique single room. Garden views through gable window, with shower and sink.
Garden Apartment - Huge 2 double bedroom self contained apartment with 2 shower rooms and a large kitchen. Large stone walled lounge with double doors out to garden with original stone open fireplace. Can sleep 6+ with fold out beds.
45-65 € a night for 2 persons with continental breakfast.
30 € Single person.
20 € per person supplementary.
Garden apartment - prices on request.

Notes on accommodation
Every room is uniquely decorated and the house is full of character with my artifacts from my world-wide travels. I offer a good home-cooked meal (optional). Daily cleaning. Fishing rights - the river has some 'big-uns'. Cycle hire. Within walking distance is the local canoe club. Boat hire and more cycle hire on the canal. Large park/playground 200 yards away alongside the river.

Accessibility
Wheelchair access to the White room and the garden apartment however these rooms only have shower facilities.

Huge garden with decking and riverbank. Shared and also can have private area.

Coast/Beach
25 mins from spectacular Bretagne coastline. Beautiful secluded beaches and picturesque coastal towns. Carnac, La Trinite Sur Mer, Larmoor Plage and Cote Savage'.

Golf
Alongside the great Lac au Duc, at Ploermel which is 15 minutes drive away, there is a lovely 9 hole golf course with Spa attached.

Special interest holidays
Canoing and boating on the river L'Oust available. We also cater for fishing parties.

Travel
Nearest Airport - Dinard, very cheap flights Ryanair from Stanstead. Avis and Hertz rentals. 45 min drive. 75 km. Also Rennes airport - 1 hour 30mins. St Malo - Portsmouth ferry. 45 min drive. 75 km.

Distances
Famous port town of Vannes - Romance and history is 25 km away. Josselyn and Chateau - 20 km. Beautiful Historic towns a plenty in every direction.

Further details
The 'Vendredi's au' canal, provide live music in the town square every Friday from July to August (varies). Wonderful local market with produce 'du terrior' every Thursday.
