Our lovingly restored wheelchair accessible Gite has been converted from a historic traditional Breton stone built barn with disabled access in mind. Also at the site is our own accessible house and a swimming pool and Jacuzzi – available for your use during high season. Your comfort is our first priority with a mix of genuine antique Breton, and modern furniture together with up to the minute convenience in our kitchen and bathrooms to make it feel like your ‘home from home on holiday’. The ground floor of the Gite is wheelchair accessible with wide and level access to the living / dining / kitchen, the ground floor bedroom and en-suite wet-room. The self catering gite can accommodate up to 6 people (plus two further children by special request) in two spacious double bedrooms and one airy twin bedroom. Local historic towns and markets are a short drive away and many beaches are available within 40 mins drive.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. 5% reduction available for bookings of over 2 consecutive weeks i.e. 3 weeks or more. Winter lets of 4 weeks or more available at significantly reduced rates, contact owners for more details. A charge of £40 per week will be made for heating during the cold months (Nov - March) and £40 per week for pool heating outside the high season. Pool is heated as standard during the high season at no extra charge.
Changeover day
Changeover days are Saturdays, however some flexibility is available out of high season. The property will need to be vacated by 10am and will be available for incoming guests by 2pm.

| Kitchen: | The fully fitted kitchen has modern split level electric cooker and halogen hob, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave. It is well equipped with high quality utensils and enough crockery and cutlery for 8 people. |
| Living Rooms: | The open plan living/dining and kitchen area has a homely feel to it with 3 piece suite, coffee table and TV/DVD player (UK TV channels available) and free wifi. A large pine dining table seating 6/8 is available. Floors are tiled throughout this area. |
| Other: | The Gite has double glazing throughout and is well insulated against the cold and the heat. There are patio doors leading from the downstairs bedroom to a slabbed patio area with table and chairs. A cot and highchair are available. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Hand, bath and beach towels are included as is linen for all the beds (apart from the cot). Linen and towels can be changed weekly for stays of longer than 1 week. |

Notes on accommodation
The garden is mostly lawned and makes an ideal area for ball games. The swimming pool is situated in an area of the garden that has the sun all day and some sun loungers are available. The pool also has a Jacuzzi. A portable hoist for the pool is available for disabled guests (weight limit 21 stone) at no extra cost, please ask for more details. A welcome pack with some basic essentials, local produce, fresh croissants and bread locally baked and a bottle of wine or cider to get you into that holiday spirit. A selection of DVDs, indoor games and books are provided. The Gite is available for both summer and winter lets and some short breaks can be arranged. An additional charge is made for heating during the colder months (£40 per week).
Accessibility
This property has been renovated with wheelchair users in mind. As a wheelchair user myself, the whole site has been developed with wheelchair access as the top priority. The ground floor of the Gite is wheelchair accessible with wide and level access to the living/dining/kitchen, the ground floor bedroom and en-suite wet-room. A shower chair and bed raisers are available and drop down handrails available in the bathroom if required. Portable pool hoist is available (weight limit 21 stone).
Outside
The garden area is laid mostly to lawn with a patio area facing out onto the garden. The pool (heated from June to September, a charge of 40 Euros is made outside these months) is approximately 15' x 8' with jacuzzi and swim jets and has a slabbed area is for the use of sun loungers and chairs. The pool is for the use of the guests of the Gite. A patio set seating 6/8 with parasol and BBQ is provided for your use. A washing line and clothes pegs are provided and there is parking for a number of cars in the drive. Access to the property is via a secluded lane which serves the Gite only and occasional use by the local farmer.
Coast/Beach
The north Brittany coast is within 30 mins drive and the south coast can be reached easily in under 2 hours. The north coast has many many beautiful sandy beaches with delightful coves and inlets. The Coastal villages and towns boast delightful creperies and restaurants selling dishes with local fish and traditional french cuisine.
Travel
There are airports at Brest (approx 45 mins drive) and Dinard (approx 1 hour 20 mins drive) car hire is available at both airports. Ferry ports at St Malo and Brest both within an hour and half drive. Caen is a little further taking just over 3 hours. If you fancy a longer drive the eurotunnel is an option taking approx 7 hours comfortable driving with at least two stops. Detailed driving instructions can be provided. Use of a car is essential at the property.
Distances
The nearest bakers is in the village which is about 1 mile away. Callac is the nearest town which is about 15 mins drive and has large supermarket and selection of shops. A market runs every Wednesday. There are forests nearby and horseriding and bike hire within 20 mins. The historic towns of St Brieuc, Lannion, and Morlaix are all worth a visit and within 40 mins drive.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% will be required at time of booking, full payment will be required 8 weeks before the date of the holiday. A £50 security deposit will be required which will be returned after satisfactory inspection of the property. Contact the owners for more details of booking.

We enjoyed our visit to France. We particularly enjoyed the coastal areas which didn't take long to reach. We also enjoyed the quaint villages and restaurants as we travelled.
