Our villa is located at Etang Vallier just outside Brossac village. Recently constructed it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with luxury furnishings throughout. There is also a fully enclosed terrace area with a raised deck. Excellent for sunbathing or watching the sunset over the lake. Etang Vallier has an onsite swimming pool which is open from June to September. There is also a man made beach along the lake side and swimming in the lake. In high seasons there are planned activities to keep the whole family entertained. Fishing is also permitted on the lake and we have had many successful catches. In high season bikes are available for hire and will allow you to explore the beautiful countryside at a leisurely pace. There are numerous restaurants located near our property with the nearest being on the lake side a few metres away, excellent food at very reasonable prices. Brossac village is 1km away and also has two restaurants, I can highly recommend Saint Bernards it great.

Swimming also available in lake. Entertainment throughout high season including, jet ski's on lake, pony rides, dances, live bands and BBQ's. Onsite mini golf and childrens play area's including bouncy castle, trampolines etc.

45 minutes drive to coastal resort of Royan.
One hour drive to coastal resort of La Rochelle.

Mini Golf available on site. Nine hole golf course located approx 18km away near Aubeterre-sur-Dronne.
Travel
There are numerous low cost flights available to nearby airports, Bordeaux, Bergerac, Limoges, La Rochelle and Poiters are all within 2 hours drive.

Further details
Etang Vallier is a wonderful lake with excellent water quality covering nearly 4 hectares. Spend your days lounging on the sandy beach, or under the pines nearby the water. Summer events include the annual Sand Castle contest open to all the 13th of July each year followed by a fireworks show over the water. Kayak rentals, and soon to come row boat rentals complement the water-based activities.
Moto-quads are available in the area either on a track or for cross country rides during summer and by reservation during the rest of the year. Jet skis are also newly available just 5km away in Saint Vallier as well as quad biking. There are a number of leisure activities available on site or close by. In high season there is an organised entertainment/activity programme. Push bike are available to hire. There are numerous walking paths nearby which which will take you through some of the stunning countryside nearby. Lama treking is also close by, a real favourite with the children.
There are numerous restaurants located near our property with the nearest being on the lake side a few metres away, excellent food at very reasonable prices. Brossac village is 1km away and also has two restaurants, I can highly recommend Saint Bernards it's great. A little further a field, a few minutes drive, you will find Chalais or Barbezieux which both have a good selection of bars/restaurants. I would also highly recommended a little restaurants in a village called Bardenac a couple of minutes drive from our villa. The restaurant has been in the same family for 30 years and only opens at lunch time. You have to be a little adventurous as there is no menu available, you are presented with a selection of dishes of the day. This usually consists of around six courses, including cheese, of typical French country cooking. The quality is excellent and all for 12 euros!!The nearest shop is in Brossac village, local spar shop, along with a butchers and bread shop.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit required, with the balance becoming due 8 weeks before holiday. A refundable security deposit of £200 is required with final payment. Payment via Paypal also accepted
