Le Grange is a tastefully converted stone barn, with exposed beams, comfortably furnished with modern conveniences included, to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible; a peaceful location, with breathtaking views across open countryside. The private non-chlorinated pool, offers an excellent place to relax, with shaded terrace which is fenced and alarmed. Whilst situated in a quiet hamlet, Le Grange is within easy reach of all the essential amenities. We are in the north of the Dordogne, offering the opportunity to explore the wonderful delights of the region including: our local village of Sarrazac with shop, bar and restaurant, Thiviers, with it's bustling Saturday market, Brantome, the 'Venice of the Perigord', Perigueux, capital of the region as well as a number of leisure lakes with water sports and nature walks, the stunning Chateatux and gardens of Hautefort, Puyguilhem and Jumhilac le Grand, pre-historic caves of Lascaux, the most famous cave paintings in France.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Sunday. Please depart by 10 am, arrive after 4 pm. We will be flexible if at all possible.

| Living Rooms: | Main living space comprising comfortable sofas, easy chairs, log burning stove, Satellite TV/DVD player, HiFi, reading area with a range of Books, DVDs and Games. French doors leading to patio area. |

Bedlinen and towels are provided. The barn is thoroughly cleaned between lets. Extra cleaning can be arranged on request. |
Notes on accommodation
The house is fully heated for winter/off season lets and has a Log burning stove in the living area.
Smoking - In the interest of safety and comfort of fellow/subsequent guests, we respectfully request guests refrain from smoking inside the barn.
Fire extinguisher/blanket in kitchen. Smoke Alarms.
Outside
Private swimming pool (saline) 11m x 5 m with roman steps, fenced and alarmed meeting French regulation, however, your safety remains your own responsibility and children must be supervised at all times. Sun loungers and pool towels provided. Pool is maintained regularly.
Two patio areas, one with large refectory table (shaded), comfortably seating 10 for fabulous alfresco dining.
A barbecue is provided together with boules, badminton set and various outside games.

Coast/Beach
A number of leisure lakes are within easy distance, Rouffiac being less than 10km, with sandy beaches, swimming, wind surfing, pedaloes, horse riding, and nature trails.
The beautiful Atlantic beaches are a two hour drive away.
Travel
Limoges airport is 60 minutes away with flights from East Midlands, Liverpool, Stansted, Newcastle or Southampton.
Bergerac airport is also 60 minutes away with flights from East Midlands, Stansted, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol or Southampton.
Car hire is essential.
Calais is a 7 hour drive with frequent ferries and the eurotunnel from Folkestone.

We are ideally located to enjoy the peaceful location whilst be within easy reach of all the main tourist activities, shops and restaurants.
Sarrazac is 5 mins away, with a village shop, two bars and a restaurant.
Thiviers 10km/10 mins, with a range of shops, supermarkets, street cafes, restaurants, bustling Saturday market, and banks, train links to Paris, Perigueux and Bordeaux.
St Yrieix 10 km/10 mins with a range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, train link to Limoges and Paris.
