The studio apartment is located in Bourg Saint Maurice which is the capital of the Haute Tarantaise ski region, here you are ideally situated to take advantage of not one but several high altitude resorts including Les Arcs (1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000), Val d'Isere, Tignes and La Plagne. The apartment sleeps 2 - 4 people, has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a full size bath and shower and during the summer months there is a outdoor swimming pool. Bourg St Maurice is home to an international railway station at which the Eurostar arrives. The 7 minute Arc-En-Ciel funicular to Arc 1600 and free valley buses provide easy access to the extensive slopes of Les Arcs. Your apartment is conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the funicular railway which takes you to Arc 1600. You are just 10 minutes from Bourg's centre with its diverse range of shops, bars and restaurants.

Notes on prices
Prices are based on 2 adults sharing for no more than 14 nights. For a stay of 15 nights or more please contact us for a quote.
A refundable security deposit of £250 is payable prior to arrival against damage and breakages. Any additional people (over 13 years old) will incur an additional surcharge of £45 per person per week, with an additional deposit of £100 per person. Full payment must be received no later than 28 days prior to arrival.
Changeover day
Saturday is our ideal changeover day but we are flexible on arrival departure days.

Golf
From the sporty slopes to the gentle greens facing Mont Blanc, step onto the golf course at Arc 1800.
Whether you are a skilled golfer or just a beginner, the golf course in Arc 1800 was designed so that everyone would be able to enjoy themselves. There are organised professionally run three or five day courses throughout the summer.
The les Arcs Golf course is open every day from 24 June - 10 September.
Skiing
Bourg Saint Maurice is ideally situated to take advantage of not one but several high altitude resorts including Les Arcs (1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000), Val d'Isere, Tignes and La Plagne.
Because of the easy access to some of the best high altitude resorts in the world you can expect fantastic skiing and boarding both in winter and summer. In addition the incredible resorts of La Rosiere and St Foy are both within a 30 min drive where some of the most unbelievable off piste riding can be found.
You are 5 mins walk from the foot of the 'Arc en Ciel' funicular railway a 7 mins ride to Arc 1600 and the Paradiski ski area, this domain alone is made up of the incredible ski areas of Les Arcs , Peisey-Vallandry and la Plagne, which are open for winter riding from December to April. The Paradiski area boasts:- 3 resorts, 20 destinations. 2 fully equipped glaciers.
3 summits above an altitude of 3000m. 425km of runs and 170 hectares of artificial snow.

Booking notes
We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking and then the balance to be paid no later than 28 days prior to arrival.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We had gone to Bourg to spend a season skiing and thought the place was so great that we bought an apartment while we were there.
The town is quite quiet and still retains its history and because you are not actually on the mountain as such the prices in the town are very reasonable.
The skiing is fantastic and the area is huge with something for every level of skiing from incredible off-piste to miles of gentle groomed runs.
Unique benefits of the property
There are so many benefits to staying in the apartment; firstly the snow train travels right into resort and there are plenty of buses and trains that travel from various airports to Bourg itself.
The apartment is literally a few minutes walk from the funicular to Les Arcs and has loads of parking. It is one of the only places in Bourg to have a swimming pool, and the location is nice and quiet It is only a 10 minute walk to town where you can buy just about anything at one of a number of supermarkets or local shops.
The town has some excellent restaurants and we have found the locals are very friendly and helpful.
It is very hard to find anywhere to rival the location, it is the ideal base to explore so many fantastic ski resorts.
