Les Cloches is a bed and breakfast located in a small market town with shops and cafes, 5 kms from the A20. It is ideally situated for exploring the centre of France or as a stopover on your journey through France. There is much to explore in this historic region, including many Chateaux and historic towns. The house is large and set back from the road with off road parking. There is a patio in the front of the house that has the sun in the morning and a terrace at the back for enjoying the afternoon and evening sun. The rooms are furnished with some French antique furniture. There is a television (French programmes only) in the living room for visitors. The whole house can be rented by the week. Sorry no pets and no smoking.

The house is opposite the church but the bells only ring twice a day at midday and 7pm.
There is central heating.
No pets and no smoking in the house.
Accessibility
All the bedrooms are upstairs and there are steps to the front door.
Outside
There is a front garden with a patio, table and chairs, that is in the sun in the morning until approx 2pm. Also a terrace at the back of the house with table and chairs that has the afternoon and evening sun.
Coast/Beach
Gracay is located in the centre of France but there is Bellebouche beach next to a lake in the Brenne National Park approx 3/4 to 1 hour drive from Gracay.
Travel
Use of a car is essential.
Nearest airports Limoges and Tours, approx 1 1/2 hour drive from Gracay.
Nearest channel port, Le Havre, approx 4 hour drive from Gracay.
Calais approx 6 hour drive from Gracay.

We are in the town of Gracay.
Valencay 20 mins drive (nice town and beautiful Chateau).
Bouges-le-chateau 20 mins drive (small village and Chateau).
Chateauroux 30 mins drive (large town).
Loches 1 hour drive (large historic town with Chateau).
Chenonceau 1 hour drive (beautiful Chateau built across the river Cher).
Cheverny 1 hour (small town and Chateau).

The Sologne 20 mins drive.
Further details
Gracay has local shops, a supermarket, a weekly market, cafe/bars, a restaurant, chemist and bank. There is a photo museum in the village open all year. In the summer there is Leisure park with a swimming pool, tennis courts etc. Also some lovely walks by the river. There are two historic churches to visit.
