The property is a nicely detached stone and slate longere, with exposed beams and comfortable furnishings. There are plenty of gardens, including your own forest, where the children can explore. The property is set in peaceful countryside not far from towns which are Sizun, Landerneau and Le Faou where you will find boutiques and traditional bakeries for your French bread. Brest, Morlaix and Quimper are the main large towns, which are always worth visiting and not far from the coast line. Nearby the cottages, just a few minutes by car or bike the area boasts of national park beauty to include a lake with sandy beaches and plenty of activities including fishing and tennis. The ‘longere’ is very private and set in the heart of the countryside, where you will be able to relax and enjoy exploring Brittany. If you only require one Gite, the second Gite will not be booked out to another party. This will ensure you have a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Notes on prices
10% Discount when a booking is made for both gites to be rented out together. Above 7 nights will be classed as 2 weeks.

Changeover day is Saturday, but willing to accommodate on request.

Gite 2 (Sleeps 4, 3 Bedrooms)

Bedroom 1 (downstairs) with double bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 (first floor) with single beds. The kitchen and living area is open plan (with open fire, for winter use. There will always be a bundle of wood left by the fires) and the kitchen is fully equipped. Electric heating. There is a downstairs separate toilet and bathroom which will suit those who have difficulty climbing stairs. |

Accessibility
As the double bedroom and bathroom are on ground floor it would suit guests who have difficulty climbing stairs. The gardens are also easily accessible for those who have difficulty walking.
Outside
There are plenty of gardens including your own forest where the children can play and patio with table, chairs and sun shade area where you will be able to enjoy a relaxing evening with a glass of wine. There is ample parking space with large private driveway.
Coast/Beach
Nearby the cottages, just a few minutes by car or bike there is a lake with sandy beaches and plenty of activities, including fishing and tennis. The lake has a 7km radius
Distances
Nearest village of Commana 1km approx 15 min walk.Town of Sizun approx 10km. Lake approx 3km. Selection of Beaches approx 30 min drive. Morlaix is a delightful place to visit approx 20min drive. Brest Oceanopolis acquarium approx 30-45 min drive. Moulins de Kerouat is a restored mill complex and is now a museum of country life approx 3km. Roscoff is overlooked sometimes by being just a ferry port, but it is so much more. Many restaurants throughout the pretty town. Approx 40min drive.
Further details
Swimming Pool complex in Sizun. A recommended excursion from Roscoff by 15 min boat trip to Il de batz, exotic garden. Also lovely beaches at Morgat and Crozon. Approx 30-45 mins. At the local lake there are boating, fishing, tennis and swimming in the lake. There is a market every Saturday in Landereau which is a pretty town and worth a visit. Approx 20 min drive.
Booking notes
A brochure is available on request. Deposit of £50.00 per gite payable on booking by cheque. Final payment to be made 6 weeks of departure. The total amount is non-refundable if a cancellation is made within this time period. It is advised a booking should first be made by telephone to ensure the dates are available.
