It has been newly decorated and comfortably furnished. It is in the heart of Cathar country, with its magnificent and rugged castles, historic towns and villages, providing a wide range of sightseeing. Perfect for walking, cycling, horse-riding, tennis, swimming, painting and total relaxation. It is famous as an area of outstanding geological interest. The cottage is on three floors, each with its own entrance. All rooms are light and spacious with large windows affording wonderful views to the mountains and over the village. The large open-plan kitchen/dining and living area has a traditional open fireplace, armchairs, sofa and good lighting : You will enjoy this comfortable and cosy cottage at every seasons. Outside, there is big a and private courtyard (1400 m2 with typical Mediterranean plants) with garden furniture.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Glorious views. Bedroom 2 with twin beds + bed settee; has also its own entrance from the garden. All bed are top quality Dunlopillo. |

| Kitchen: | Electric cooker with rotisserie, sink, draining board, fridge/freezer. |
| Utility Room: | The basement only has access from outside. This is where the washing machine is kept. There is also a second toilet and double sink. |
| Living Rooms: | The dining area has a large oval oak table and chairs, and a large antique buffet in which you will find a good supply of crocks, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. Living area with open fireplace (log fires can be arranged for the winter months). |

Towels and bed linen are provided. These will be changed weekly. The property will have been cleaned before your arrival and will be cleaned after your departure. |

Located between Perpignan and Narbonne, (each with mainline train stations and Narbonne with Auto-train from Calais, it is 40 minutes from both. Nearest airports are Perpignan, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Montpelier and Barcelona.
Distances
It is 5 minutes from the next village (St Jean de Barrou) which has post office, tabac and food shop with excellent butcher; 10 minutes from nearest town (Durban) with castle, hotel and restaurants, health centre, chemist, open-air swimming pool, super-market, petrol station, post office, and many other shops ; 15 minutes from an excellent Intermarche at Sigean.
