The Morvan has some of the most ancient unspoilt woodland in Europe with rivers, waterfalls and lakes suitable for exploring and enjoying nature. Lac de Setton - 20 minutes away - has swimming, sailing kayaking, pedalos, cycling and all outdoor pursuits. The Grande Randonee path goes past the house and is suitable for short and long distance walks. Potteries, restaurants offering delicious regional produce, local crafts available. Swimming in natural lake 10 minutes, many activities in Autun - swimming, sailing, riding, bowling.
Travel
Travel from Paris 2-3 hours on easy french motorways. Paris, Lyon, Geneva airports then car hire essential or TGV to Dijon or Le Creusot.
