Spacious ground floor apartment with large double bedroom, 2nd even larger bedroom with twin beds and 2 further single beds if required. Well equipped kitchen, nice seating and dining areas. French windows on to balcony. Lovely views of the mountains. Private parking and basement ski cellar. Very close to the Tramway de Mont Blanc. The station is a very short walk down the hill where you also can get the ski bus to the Bettex cable car. The trip up to Les Houches is a must, the views are gorgeous. We have been rated as 3* by the St Gervais tourist board.

Notes on prices
We are very happy to accept payment in UK Pounds or euros at the exchange rate current at the date of payment.
Prices are for 4 people using the apartment for 1 week.
Full bedding, bathmat and towels will be provided. Plenty of room for up to 6 people but an additional charge will be made for the extra laundry. Beds will be made up prior to your arrival.
There is a call out charge of 45 euros for lost keys plus the cost of replacement keys.
Changeover day
Saturday or Sunday changeover days. Please be clear of the apartment by 11am. You will have access from 4pm on your arrival.

Property is cleaned on arrival. Towels and bed linen for 4 guests are included. Extra available for a small charge. The apartment will be cleaned and linen changed at the end of a 7 day stay. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment has central heating and is very warm and spacious. There is plenty of hot water and a proper bath to soak in at the end of a day on the mountains. We are not really suitable for children under 8. Good selection of books and games available in the toy chest.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor with private parking just outside. There are stairs down to the twin bedded room but the rest of the living accommodation is on the ground floor. There is a large lockable cellar downstairs.
Outside
There are patio doors from the sitting room on to a small balcony with steps down to a very small garden area. Enjoy the views and the peace and quiet.
Golf
There is a really nice golf course at Megeve (summer only) and also a course at Chamonix. All within 30 minutes drive
Skiing
You have easy access to 2 big skiing areas without needing a car. You can take the TMB (Tramway de Mont Blanc) train which leaves from the station about 100 yards down the hill from the apartment. You can even walk down the track. The TMB takes you up to Les Houches where if you are feeling brave you can try the Kandahar run (where they hold the Chamonix Mens Downhill event) or take the ski bus stop which goes across town to the Bettex telecabine. This is a fast cable car up to Bettex which takes you up to the whole Megeve/ St Nicholas ski area. This includes Mont Joly, Mont Joux, and Roche Brune. On the same Evasion lift pass you can also enjoy the skiing at Combloux and Les Contamines which are both a short drive or busride away.
Travel
Geneva is the nearest airport. Served by EasyJet from LGW, BA from LHR and other budget airlines. We are about an hour's drive from Geneva. Collection and return can be arranged for a reasonable charge. About 2.5 hours drive from Lyons and Milan Malpensa and probably similar from Grenoble.
Distances
5 minutes walk to town centre. 5 minutes drive or by TMB to the spa at St Gervais Les Bains for treatments and pampering.
10 minutes drive to Sallanches which has big supermarkets and 10 minutes drive to Megeve with art galleries, fine shopping and coffee bars. 15 minutes drive to Chamonix.
Further details
We are ideally situated for walking or cycling holidays in the mountains with Megeve, Chamonix and Lac Passy all nearby. Try rafting on the river or hire a mountain bike or just pack up a picnic and drive up to St Nicholas or Contamines Mont Joux. Also, not too far away, drive through Argentiere and on into Switzerland. Absolutely stunning views from the road down to Martigny or try a day trip to Italy through the tunnel into Courmayeur and the Aosta Valley. Take a trip up the mountain on the TMB. This little train takes you right up to Belleville at Les Houches where in winter if you are feeling brave you can try the Kandahar run (where they hold the Chamonix Mens Downhill event), and in the summer season take a picnic and walk in the mountains. The line is due to be extended a little further this year. We are told that you can take your bike up on the last train of the day and then cycle down back to St G. Finally, after a good day's skiing try the spa down at St Gervais Les Bains, just a short walk from the next station down on the TMB. A little pampering can go a long way.

Booking by phone or email. We will confirm availability within 48 hours and would like 15% deposit within 7 days to secure booking. Bookings within 4 weeks of arrival should be paid in full at time of booking. Payment in euros or sterling accepted by cheque or direct bank transfer.
